On a hot day, a cold Coconut Matcha is so refreshing, and the matcha gives me a nice little boost. I also like that they add fresh coconut meat. The slightly chewy texture makes the drink even more enjoyable. My daughter always gets the Matcha Crema, and we've been here a few times now. We still end up ordering the same drinks every visit because they're our favorites. The shop is small, but there are a few tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. There are also a few tables outside, and I've seen people relaxing or studying there. The employees have always been friendly, and they've made my drinks exactly the way I asked every time. My favorite was the black sesame coffee but I should've gotten normal sweetness instead of less sweet because this isn't a sweet drink! Maybe just not an expresso tonic girl but I really did not like the drink AT ALL (the fruitiness, expresso, and sparkling flavors felt too much to me). The hojicha mocha was the most disappointing though. This drink combination sounds like it has a lot of potential, but why did it taste... fishy??? It was creamy and milk chocolatey (I prefer dark chocolate), but the flavor that came through the most was FISHINESS. For drinks with this high of a price point to be just ok or very unenjoyable, I think I'll be trying other coffee shops :(

Only problem is there isn't outlets at all the sitting spots. Only two places have outlets. Well decorated interior from the moment you walk in, to the restroom in the back. Appreciate how clean this place is. Love the type of chill music they play. It's like a little hidden gem! Beverages/Service: lots of options! We tried their orange series because that's their signature. The orange was definitely a forward flavor so paired with the hojicha, it was like orange chocolate. Whereas it overpowered the matcha flavor. They want to guarantee satisfaction so they told us they'd remake it. While it's not my preference, it's not bad, so I kept mine. I'm just so grateful they were kind enough to offer the remake. I'd definitely come back.

This is my first time visiting Dex Coffee, and I will say that this is a decent cafe to stop by if…read moreyou need to get some work done. With that being said, I certainly have a few gripes that have me on the fence about if I would come back here again. Let's talk about it: 1. Wifi: although the wifi is free thankfully, it was unfortunately very slow during the time I had visited. It caused me to lose a lot of productivity while I did my work, and was a nuisance to deal with when my music kept cutting off every 15 seconds. So I truly hope that Dex Coffee can find a solution or better internet provider if they want to live up to being one of the better study cafes out there! 2. Music: Oh boy...where do I even start. Dex coffee uses AI generated music, which might not bother anyone else, but it sure did bother me. Like I said, the poor wifi had my music cut in and out for every 15 seconds it tried to play; which meant that I could hear the shop's music every once in a while. At first, I didn't think of it much until I realized how similar each song sounded and how it used the same two voices to sing them-- thus making me realize that AI music was being used to promote their business. I really don't understand why a lot of small coffee shops have been using AI music? I thought that even copyrighted music was okay to play but maybe not? Anyways, please please PLEASE consider using human made non-copyrighted music in that case...or even just some sort of piano instrumental would be a lot better! Whew, now that that's out of the way, here are the actual drink reviews: 1. Matcha Einspanner - 3/5 Not bad! I liked how balanced the sweetness was; though the matcha flavor was lacking and the drink watered down really fast. 2. Pumpkin Spice Latte - 4/5 Alright I personally didn't expect to enjoy this (not a fan of coffee at all), but this was a pleasant surprise! Loved how well flavored the pumpkin spice was, and you can tell they use high quality coffee beans. But again, waters down really fast unfortunately. Overall: I am willing to come back, but as I stated in my gripes, if they continue to have slow wifi and use AI music then I will probably stop coming here in the future.

The line area was organized and separated from the seating area, the line moved very fast, and the workers were so friendly! They give you buzzers here which make the waiting process a whole lot less stressful. My drink and food came out quick, but while I was waiting I noticed that thing place has a variety of seating, from couch chairs, to group tables, to low seating outdoors. Everything feels nice and organized and there's so much attention to detail. Keep in mind it is very noisy here from how many people just sit down to hang out, and there's also a bar, which I think they serve matcha at? Now for my food, I got my banana muffin warmed.
