Our adventure at Concept Lighting began a few weeks ago when we were in to look at light fixtures…read morefor our living room. They had tons of styles to choose from, and while we had an idea of what we were looking for, the selection was a bit overwhelming. They have a very large selection compared to other local lighting stores which was nice because we didn't want to drive all the way to Toronto. A designer came to our aid and helped us narrow down our choices until we finally found the perfect one. One of our concerns was about the size and whether the fixture would be too big for the room. She whipped out her scratch pad and walked us through some design principles and how to know whether a fixture is going to look too big or not. After we settled, she checked and advised us of a 15% sale on that particular brand so we were happy to be under budget. When ringing us through, we had the option to leave a 50% deposit or pay in full. I should mention that it was a very busy store and there were ample staff working, all of whom were very pleasant and helpful. She told us that the fixture should arrive in up to 6 weeks because if their partner warehouse didn't have it in stock, they were likely waiting for it to arrive on the container (from China). Two weeks later, we got a call that the fixtures were ready for pickup. We picked up the next day, installed both of them and they looked beautiful! Unfortunately, the 2 finials were different sizes and this wasn't acceptable since both fixtures were in the same room and the difference would be extremely noticeable. I brought both finials back to the store with my receipt, pictures that I took, and the instructions showing the description of the parts and they quickly checked to see if they had another one they could swap out for me. As luck would have it, they had another box in the back and quickly did the swap -- this made my day because there was no way I was going to uninstall one of the fixtures and return it. Super satisfied. Will be back in the future.
