OK let me tell you about Missing Links - we had THE best girlfriend outing playing mini golf here!…read moreSeeing it from the streets is a little underwhelming, but right as you pull up I was immediately impressed by their outdoor patio/seating area. They have ample picnic tables and Adirondack chairs and fireplaces if you really want to get cozy. The Cafe Corazon food truck was also posted outside which was a welcome suprise (but sadly, they left super early before we could grab tacos...I think they were gone by 6:30pm, not sure if that's normal or if they were having issues). When we walked indoors to rent our equipment, the surprises continued. It was clean and so cute, decorated with fun seasonal decor & lights - they must have had 20+ ice cream flavors to choose from (can't wait to bring my kids back) and the checkout process was quick and easy. Right indoors is a full-service bar as well so we grabbed a half bottle of Whitehaven and hit the course. The mini golf course itself is laid out really nicely, holes are challenging and fun. Our favorite feature of this course though were the game spinners they had at most holes. They made you do funny things like balance on one foot when you shoot, close your eyes for the first shot, roll the ball with your hand, etc. It made the experience even more fun and super silly, we were giggling the whole time. Overall the course took us about an hour for 2 and we were playing leisurely. Seriously cannot wait to go back - it was a blast with my girlfriend, would be a great date night/double date night or outing with your fam. Such an awesome spot to have nearby!

Essentially I personally base it on the likelihood of a return visit and I try to be stingy with 5 star reviews since they should be "special" in my eyes. The owners are very friendly and work hard to keep the property looking great. They offer a small putting green, both grass and turf options at the range, and three sizes of buckets for balls. You'll find us hitting a bucket of balls or getting in a round of mini golf frequently during the season.

Okay so there were a couple problems with this place…read more.. #1. The staff are extremely rude and aggressive towards children. I saw a group of kids waiting nearby for everyone to finish the hole and a lady walked up to them and demanded that they stay RIGHT by the adult at ALL TIMES for "liability purposes". #2. The staff are very ignorant. I was playing a hole with my family when a staff member and his friend/coworker proceeded to skip the hole I was on so they could be in front. In conclusion, it was quite an uncomfortable experience for me and my family. It was obvious that the staff were just prowling on us and waiting for something to happen so they could yell at us. #3. There were several encounters with this one staff member (male, brown hair) where he would act hostile towards everyone around him. IMPORTANT NOTE: The music they play here sucks. Bring earplugs/earbuds. My simple suggestion: Fix your staff. If this isn't an option for you, I would just close down EDIT: I'd like to say one thing: kids will be kids! There's no sign that says no throwing rocks in the pond and no kid is going to go on the website and think "hmm I should check if this is allowed". If this is how you all deal with this, then you should just make it 16+. No one wants your attitude directed at their children. If you have a problem, the correct way to address it is to go to the PARENT and not the child. I think it's kind of funny that you took the time to write a whole essay about how I put "false information" I can't wait for this place to go out of business. If you are reading this and planning on coming here, please do! Just make sure to drop a ton of rocks in the last hole.

So here's the thing - we've been coming here for a very, very long time. The course has been a good…read moreone and despite the fact that it's all falling apart, we still enjoyed coming here. It's gotten much worse this year and honestly, I really feels like they don't care anymore. The real kicker here is that they have a trick shot 19th hole - a single putt that can win you a free game. We always let my son hit the shot, because he's younger and would appreciate it more than we would. After several years, he finally scored it tonight - and the guy behind the counter refused to honor it. He said he took two shots, which is not allowed - despite that NOT being posted ANYWHERE. Again, he hit his ball and missed (incidentally, the ball goes into the water when you miss, so you can't cheat), so I gave him my ball and that's how he scored. It's a pure luck shot, so it's not like the kid was sizing up the hole. The kid behind the counter simply refused and was downright rude about it, just coming off as mean and accusatory like we were trying to cheat (when you can't cheat the shot, period) and he completely deflated what was an exciting experience for my son. It took a fun ending to a day and shot it down the toilet all because this kid wanted to be rude. Seriously, uncalled for. We will not be coming back, period. We were willing to put up with the lack of repair work because we enjoyed the course, but this put things over the edge for us and we will definitely not be returning.

My…read morefriends and I were looking for something to do during the last dreary months of winter and whoolah! Found something online saying they were having a Mardi Gras themed party with Static Chicken playing. Okay, sounds legit. The social media posts said the band played from 7-10 so we decided to get there at 6. Never being there prior, I was a little surprised to pull in and see like 5 cars. I thought well, it's not really a destination bar and maybe more peeps will show up for the band. They did, tho not too many, and they brought their kids too lol. So it's a family friendly spot if you want to see a band there in the future. They have some tables, old school Nintendo boxes, funny decor. It was low key for sure which I do like, but also kinda too loud to hear your friends and family once the band took over the small area. They don't serve food but there's a food truck outside which was operating. Three of us got the $10 Fancy Grilled Cheese which was pretty good and a lot of food. It came with plenty of fries that are sadly way too salty. I'd order it again but next time ask for less salt if possible. They were out of the veggie burger option which shows as Impossible online, bummer. Another friend tried their blackened mahi mahi with dirty rice and liked it but thought the portion was small for the $14 price. I wouldn't say it was a Mardi Gras party because they didn't offer us beads and the decor was minimal for the event but that's okay. The servers were nice and quick but seemed unexperienced but I can't put my finger on how or why. The sign outside said the band played from 8-11 so that was annoying because we would have arrived later. We stayed until about 9 and left for another bar. Another fun thing that is not their fault, we were outside about to go to the food truck when a man ran up and asked us for money and a smoke because he was just released from jail and needed bus fare. I guess the Greenfield police station is across the street and he was released without a way home. I'm sure they don't like that for business but my friend eventually gave a him a few bucks and he left. I'd try this place out again for some golfing and maybe if another band I liked played but it's not near my house so not a place I'd be often.

Holey Mackerel! This place is amazing and such a hidden gem…read more I've driven past here so many times to the point it ended up on my "want to go" list. I went tonight with a friend, and we had an absolute blast! The vibes inside give 80s nostalgia means a seaside shack, and I'm IN LOVE with it. For two of us to play mini golf, it was $22, which is reasonable for the area & 18 holes. The course is not the most accessible with some rocks and steps along the paths, but it's a fun course to play regardless! There were misting stations across the playing path, which is nice for the summertime. As we were getting ready to leave, we saw a flyer mentioning music bingo on Thursdays at 7pm. We stuck around for the few minutes until 7, and I'm so glad we did. It was so fun. For $1, you get three rounds or more of bingo, depending on length of game play. Our rounds tonight were 80s hits, songs from movies, and bar classics. The emcee was amazing and friendly. I got a Carbliss from the bar, and my friend got a non-alcoholic frozen drink called the Mangonada. We were both cackling at the headers in the menu. Calling wine "Mom Juice" is extremely hilarious and adds so much character to this place. The bartender was kind and knowledgable too. If you want to test your luck, you can pay to spin the wheel of shots. Forewarning: malort has its own spot on the wheel. There's also arcade games and batting cages here. I will wholeheartedly be coming back to this place. This might be my new go-to bar!
