Went here at 1 pm on a Saturday and the place was packed, bar was full, big parties. They had darts available to play, bathrooms in the back, lots of TVs playing sports. Our waitress was very nice and quick with refills. For food, we got an appetizer of fried pickle spears and they were some of the best I've had, they were really crispy and their homemade ranch went really well with it. For my main I got the bacon cheeseburger, the food came like 15 min after we ordered so super quick. and it was really juicy and saucy which I like, the burger was cooked well and it was all very tasty. Also the fries dipped in ranch were really good, couldn't get enough of the ranch lol. Great restaurant in west branch highly recommend it. read more

Excellent food, large menu. The chicken crunch wrap was fantastic! Located in cute downtown area with a lot of parking.

Traveling the area, called ahead and found we could bring our dogs. Got here and the patio was closed because the entrance went through an alley where a band was setting up. We never got to try the food, I'm not sure that's our loss. Gave it one star because zero wasn't an option. I guess everyone gets a trophy. read more

My bestie & I decided to go have lunch while our guys were golfing. We went to Loggers. Waiting to be seated, we stood at the wait station for 13 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Once seated, we ordered water while we looked over the menu. 15 minutes later, our waitress finally showed up to take our order. We ordered the shrimp taco - which came with 2 tacos & nothing else. 45 minutes later, our tacos arrived to our table!! Although we should have been irritated, we were enjoying each other's company. The tacos were delicious! We paid for our food and while we were waiting, I decided to grab some cash out of the ATM. The transaction completes but no money was dispensed! I turned around and a worker was standing there. I started to explain what happens when she puts her hands up & says, 'I'm not dealing with this again', points to a male worker & says ' he is the manager, take it up with him'. The manager comes over & tells me that the phone lines & the ATM line are the same and if he is taking an order over the phone, that this happens. I told him that he needs to put an 'out of order' sign on the machine if this a continuous problem and he responds with 'nope'. I asked about my money (as I immediately recieved a message from my bank saying that I did a cash withdrawl) - I was told 'don't worry about it, it will all work itself out in the wash'. I said WHAT??? That dont even make sense. He told me that the bank would know that I didn't receive my money & would reimburse me. Then he walked away!! We left the restaurant and I immediately went to the bank & explained what happened. They told me that they would have No Way of knowing that I didn't receive my money & that I was the 2nd person that day that this happened to!! We filed a dispute against this business!! Almost 2 hours at this place for 2 fish tacos & $100 loss from their ATM, Guarantees that I will NEVER return!! Buyer Beware!!! read more

Service was decent, the food was not.. my wife ordered pot roast and it was so dry she couldn't finish it. The baked potato was hard as a rock she could cut it with a butter knife. We started with spinach artichoke dip. It was inedible. Chips with the dip taste very old and greasy. I had BBQ Mac and cheese, it was ok. Came across this place on our drive back to Detroit from the west side and definitely wasn't disappointed! The brew city fries were crisp and delicious. And my double crunch wrap was flavorful and huge! Great prices for the serving sizes. Food took a little longer than expected but you could tell it was made with love and care once it arrived. Perfect family stop on our drive north. Very friendly and quick to sit family of 5 on a busy Friday night. Good food for bar/grille. We were driving home from up north and didn't want to eat fast food. Found this place. Food was very good. I had Patty melt which was great. Side salad was good, ranch dressing was awesome. Had crinkle fries which I love. Husband had fish and chips said they were tender,moist, with a crunchy coating. Would have given them a 5 star review but, took quite a while to get our food and our waitress who was very friendly but we could never find her when we needed extra ranch, more pop, more tartar sauce and our bill. This is not fine dining but for what it is - casual bar food - it is top notch. We started w the bread sticks - soooo puffy, chewy, and delicious. We also ordered a burger, buffalo wings and a chicken salad. All were excellent. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. Ordered the thin crust veggie delight and it was a visual treat to my eyes. It looked really good that I devoured it as soon it came. The food here was really okay. If I had to guess from my 40 years of experience in the restaurant business I would say the kitchen and waitstaff is not on the same page. I think someone comes up with the menu and random specials. The kitchen is probably staffed fairly well while the wait staff is kinda left to figure it out with a Skeleton crew. To the owners I would say.... You should probably be out front with your staff giving them support. Quick summary: contracted food poisoning! Aside from the food poisoning, food is inconsistent, menu is too large and complex, and atmosphere is dive bar. If you do eat here, stick with pizza or fully cooked menu items with no raw sides. I was intrigued by the high Yelp rating and referrals from locals so I used their online ordering to get a pizza, chicken wrap, and chicken and mashed potato bowl. Food was outstanding and service when I picked up my order was exceptional. Everything was so exceptional I ordered again. Complete opposite. I ordered online again, this time getting the beef nachos with green olives and refried beans. I came in to pickup, did not get greeted and after 5 minutes of waiting, finally found a bartender to assist. Multiple people walked by and only looked away. Nachos were dismal in size which was misleading based on the availability of a half portion. Nachos were Luke warm, soggy, and potion of chip to topping ratio was way off. Within the hour, it was evident, the nachos had some sort of food poisoning bacteria, possibly Clostridium perfringens based on our symptoms. The one I was served was about 98% beans. Apparently reading is not the cooks strong suit. Service was good although the kitchen seemed a bit slow for the number of people. The food is solid bar food. Taco salads are large with a flaky and not greasy deep fried shell. Fish tacos were decent but needed more flavor. Maybe a good slaw or sauce on top. Fried green bean appetizer was spot on. Homemade chips and salsa left a LOT to be desired. The chips were well cooked and again, not greasy but they did not have one speck of salt between two orders. The salsa seemed like something off the shelf at your local grocery store. We started with the Deep Fried Mushrooms that were fresh and yummy! If your a Mushroom lover, you'll enjoy these. For dinner we all had burgers and a grill cheese, the fries were freshly cut. A solid choice to stop for food in town. Nothing really special, but the bartender was friendly and the food was good (but nothing amazing). I did not like their cole slaw- it had a tangy aftertaste that I did not enjoy. Their salads are HUGE- order a "half" size unless you are dying of starvation. read more

I ordered a modified turkey club because I like cold turkey on toasted bread with cheese and mayonnaise. Not that difficult, right? Apparently it was for the man in the kitchen because he brought it out to me with tomatoes and lettuce and bacon. I explained nicely that that is not how I asked for it to be made, (which the waitress understood). then the guy decided to mansplain to me how I needed to order my sandwiches from now on. He told me I needed to order a grilled cheese sandwich add turkey. However, that would make it a hot sandwich, not the cold sandwich. So maybe instead of mansplaining how to make a sandwich, just shut up and make it the way the paying customers asks you to make it. it isn't that difficult it's just a sandwich. The waitress seemed annoyed at the fact that he brought our food out, and said, that's why she likes to bring the food out, i assume so she can see if it's right or wrong. She was really nice about the whole thing. However, he was not. He really needed an attitude adjustment. Edit: You don't want to spar, or you just have no excuse for your shitty behavior as an owner. Maybe tiktok will find this information worthwhile. I had a whole table of people who witnessed your atrocious behavior that day! I can not say enough about the dining experience I had, with my family, at Logger's Depot. A lot of times, I am scared away from mom and pop restaurants. The quality of the food is usually just not as good as places in the city. However, the experience we had (and the food that we had) on our visit to loggers depot was very high-quality and very well thought out. We were traveling from Mackinac Island, home to Columbus, Ohio. Our service on a late Thursday night was prompt and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Our kids devoured their meals and were drooling over their Mom and Dad's pizza crust. And, it really was some of the best homemade pizza we've had in a while. I immediately knew I was going to leave a 5-star review as soon as we got home and settled in. This is this icing on the cake. A couple days after we got home, I realized, after some searching, that I had left my keys(car, house, everything) on the table at the restaurant. Major facepalm. I called the restaurant to confirm. Shannon answered the phone, again was very friendly and helpful, and without hesitation said, "it'll only be a couple bucks, I'll just take care of it and send 'em to ya!" Talk about going above and beyond! I offered to send a check and she just kept telling me not to worry about it. People- if you are in the area, eat here! Atmosphere pleasant, staff friendly but not attentive would have had to ask to refill drinks even the water. The food was not very consistent. The smothered Angus dinner food portion looked like a kids meal, Gyro was not that great limited gyro meat and the traditional sauce pasty and I love Gyros typically! French fries were horrible! The wet burrito was a huge portion. French dip sand was good super tender per my daughter. The Food took forever and they were not very busy. Waitress realized it was taking long time told us they were playing our food and it was a good 15/20 min before it came out(she was obviously buying time. fries came out cold/crisp for all three of our sandwiches the gyro and Italian sub were barely warm.
