Dates: July 3 - 6…read more This was our first stop after taking the Okeechobee Waterway across Florida. The dockhands and dock master were all incredibly helpful. Our slip was right next to the dock office and we got to see first hand how friendly and welcoming each employee was with everyone that came through. Your stay here gets you access to the pool, a workout facility, laundry, and showers. They have a golf cart shuttle service to get you to/from the docks. We used the service every time we did a grocery delivery from Walmart. They are equipped to hook up dock carts to the golf cart to get heavy loads back to your boat. There is also a great restaurant on the property that we went to for several meals. We stayed over the July 4th holiday and had a wonderful experience. A pool party and games were held for July 4th, and a fireworks display went off right outside the marina. The dock layout protects you from the current and there is plenty of depth if you enter at the fuel dock. Warning to boats with a deeper draft - the fuel dock is not where Navionics shows it to be. The entrance is further out in the water and the dock itself is in the center by the dock office. There is signage and the dockhands are very responsive by radio. 10/10 would return.

Another reason to come back, though. We were docked at the end of a t-dock and had a great view of the bridge and intercostal. Love the floating docks and locked gates to each pier to keep boats more secure. Much of the immediate area looks to be building new hotel, condos, shopping and a restaurant is under construction situated right at the marina which will have spectacular views looking over the marina and coastal waterways.

Disappointed in their ethics. We were an annual customer…read morewhen we decided to sell the boat so we couldn't renew the annual contract. The Dockmaster, with no prompt from us, offered that if we used the broker they recommended that the marina would give us a discounted rate on the monthly dockspace. Four months after we hired the broker that they recommended the dockmaster sent us an email saying that they could not honor that commitment and that not only would the rate go up but that they were going to go back and charge our credit card the higher price for the previous months. We told the marina that we would not authorize charges for previous months - but they did it anyway. We asked to speak to senior management at Seven Kings Holdings who owns this marina. Vice President of Operations Linda Searles told us that Raymond Graziotto, the CEO, personally directed the actions in question - even though they admit that the dockmaster initiated the offer and we accepted it. It is unfortunate that an attractive facility is owned by group that will not honor commitments made by their dock master.

We were told it would be completed then next day. Wow! After a week went by with no word even after calling every day we finally learned the service mgr we spoke with had quit. We lost a week here. I finally got thru to Justin, the Gm. I have to say we went from being extremely irritated with the marina to not being able to say enough good things about them. Under trying circumstances for all, Justin and his staff, especially Beth, did everything they could to help us out. We would not hesitate to recommend Riverwatch and we look forward to cruising over there and visiting with them again once we figure out how our new boat works!
