    Ghost Town for Good Reason
    Daniel K.

Terrible Manager Kristeena, Ghost Town for a reason. We went out to celebrate as a family and waited quite a long time to be greeted, even though the place was very empty and the staff walked by a few times. We were a bit concerned about how the service was going to be if the restaurant was that slow. But we were eventually seated and we were pleasantly surprised at how kind and helpful the two waitresses were that helped us.  However...we were shocked to find the $6.99 kids burger was a literal quarter of a normal size burger (you could see how it was a 1/4 cut from a burger) and the bun was smaller than their free rolls. When we voiced concern about how expensive the kids' meal was for such a small portion, the waitresses agreed and they went to talk to the manager.  They came back to say that they were going to comp the kids' meal.  They asked if we wanted to order another meal, to which we said no, and then they asked if we wanted another side for our son.  We said "let's see" as we wanted to see if he'd be full before ordering more food. When we got the check, we found that the kids' burger had not been removed, and we were then told that it would have only been comped IF we had ordered something else, which we would have done. After talking to the waitress, Kristeena Smith-Jackson, the Service and Guest Relations Manager came out and asked us, "How can I help you?"  We explained what the waitresses had told us, but her demeanor was abrasive and rude, and she refused to honor what we were told. Before and after her coming out to our table, we could hear her yelling in the kitchen, at our waitresses.  It was completely unprofessional and sounded like verbal abuse. One of the waitresses came back and apologized, then gave us two coupons for a future visit ($10 off a $40 purchase and a free entree with $25 purchase).  I have no interest in going back to Logan's again, at least at that location, which is very sad because we have always enjoyed that restaurant and location. The place was a complete ghost town while we were there between 7:40 and 9:00, and if that's the way the manager usually conducts herself, perhaps there's an obvious reason the place was so empty.

    Chicken tenders

Chicken tenders were.. well, you can see from the photo. Steak was extremely dry. Recommend Alpine location for 5 star tenders and juicy steak.

My son's meal was a grilled chicken plate with a side of corn.

The steak was mediocre at best. It was soft and un seasoned. The vegetables were also under seasoned.

Also, they had a very SOLID spicy bloody mary. So why only 4 stars then? Welp, best burger in the state still goes to Ricewood (Friday & Saturday only!) - that smoked brisket burger is dang good. Bar seating is first come first served so I went right after work and got there about 4:45. There were a ton of seats open at the bar. A friend met me at 5pm. We were seated with Fin, the bartender. He was awesome- very attentive but not overbearing. I could tell when he was coming by to peek in on us but he never interrupted our conversation. He would glance over and check our drinks and pause, and then keep moving. I'm sure if I was alone he would've provided me with some banter, he seems nice enough. He recommended a cocktail - The Last Word. I've had one before and this one did not disappoint. The other drinks I had were the espresso martini and the New York sour- both favorites of mine and done very well by Fin. I love that this bar uses frosty glasses for their cocktails. It's a nice touch. I had to have the Wagyu meatballs. They're mentioned in many reviews and people at work agreed they're a must have. My friend wasn't very hungry so I ate 5 out of the 6 haha. The bread that comes w it is a focaccia that is his divine! I thought it was deep fried but it's just soaked in oil and then heated on the griddle. The meatballs are Wagyu 75/25 so kinda fatty but so smooth. They are served with a marinara sauce and ricotta. So good. Would get this again. The menu looks awesome but we were just there for drinks and snacks. Next time I'll make a reservation (Resy) and have dinner. Parking is typically awful. No valet. Bathrooms are multi sex unistalls, clean. The restaurant is noisy- maybe not a great first date spot. Seemed to be a lot of well to do people in the restaurant, based on the outfits and accessories I saw. Might be a place to meet someone new if it wasn't so loud and incredibly busy. It's hard to get a table during dinner hours especially if the weather is perfect. But try your best to get in. They do take walk ins and it's worth an hour wait.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite.
