Cutting a structural truss, we'll see how the engineer feels about that. And why is it so screwed up to begin with?

5-9-23 You will not save money with Logan because you end up spending it on a lawyer on the back end. They don't respond anymore once they get paid, it looks like a lawsuit is the only way to get their attention. More to follow.

    Leopard paint job

Do not waste your money- the homes look nice and they add a warranty to the home but don't actually fix items. Our drywall is not acceptable and many nail pops and bubbles in the walls. They "fixed" some but the original walls were not sanded so we are left with leopard walls. They couldn't match original paint on some rooms and were to repaint the rooms - to then tell us they would only paint one wall leaving rooms mismatched. LVP floors should be replaced but still waiting for that months later. They also have many creaks in the floors and nothing has been done! This was a new build and we are almost a year and a half in with items still unresolved! This doesn't even include the yard issues, flood in a bedroom, closet and bathroom, or how the fireplace gas line that goes under the upstairs flooring and gets so hot it will burn my toddlers feet, and many more issues not even mentioning.

They are nice when working with buyers, but beware. They left one of their recent projects in Southport, NC holding a bag needing more than a half a million dollars to correct and complete. The project location is Cades Cove, off of Howe Street and Robert Ruark Dr. Driving thru the community you will notice that the streets are only paved with the initial rough coat. The town will not take over the roads until they are up to code. Look closer. Notice the many patches to the roads. They are there due to failures of the infrastructure below, i.e. storm water system, sewage system, and pond outflow pipes. Numerous sink holes hint of issues yet to be corrected. Look closer yet, and notice the huge craters in the alleyways behind some of the homes, alleys which are supposed to provide access to rear entrance garages. A couple of the sink holes are large enough to hide an SUV. They left the community owing several years of back taxes to the county. They escaped the project and the town by somehow collecting most of their bond despite leaving the project uncompleted. This is a hint of their business ethics. The builder's game is to build and sell houses and then leave, change company names, and continue on with new projects. Buyer beware - do your homework. Do not give these people your business.
