While the shop might not be the fanciest place to wait, they do have chairs, complimentary water, and a TV to keep you entertained. What truly makes this place shine is the incredible service and honesty of J and his team. From the moment I arrived, Jonathan greeted me warmly and made me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. He and his team are not only knowledgeable but also friendly and hospitable. They worked on several major issues with my truck and took the time to explain every detail along the way. Here's a quick breakdown of what was done: He replaced the rear brakes, rotors, brake hoses, and calipers. I had initially requested a brake fluid flush and fill, and to have my rear brakes and rotors changed, but the rear brakes weren't purging fluid. J and his team quickly got to work troubleshooting, inspecting the brake hoses, and discovering that they were clogged and that the caliper was seized. He sourced the parts and fixed the issue, all while showing me everything step by step to ensure I understood the problem and knew he wasn't making it up or anything like that. (He literally showed it to me) He also flushed and filled the fluids in both the front/rear differentials/transfer case. The engine coolant was flushed and replaced, and he even changed the spark plugs, showing me the worn condition of the old ones. He checked all the hoses and clips to ensure nothing else needed to be replaced and changed the serpentine belt, which was long overdue. Jonathan also took extra time to address the growing rust issue underneath my truck, showing me how bad it was and explaining a plan of action we could take to treat it and prevent further corrosion in the future, should I opt to bring it back to him. (I'm definitely going to come back for this) I was especially impressed with how honest and upfront he was about every repair. He explained everything clearly, showed me the worn-out parts, and never once tried to upsell me or cut corners. His prices are incredibly fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. Overall, Jonathan and his team provided excellent service in a timely manner, and I really appreciated his dedication to getting my truck maintenance up to date and ensuring it's safe for the road. The fact that he accepts all forms of payment.... Debit Card/Credit Card/Cash/Zelle was just an added convenience. If you're looking for an honest, skilled, and friendly mechanic who goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Jonathan and his shop. They are a full service shop that does engines, transmissions, well pretty much everything. It's hard to find such integrity and expertise these days, but you'll definitely find it here!

You know that feeling when your cars about to take a poop or you fear the worst- I call him up right away or message and he'll get back to me as soon as he can to give me his professional opinion without seeing the car. The fact that there's someone I can lean to for answers in a hurry and not feel like I'm getting the short end, makes it worth it. Sure I've went to other places that were more convenient and reputable, but always end up leaving unsatisfied and poor I've also been to the shop stressed out about how much a fix could cost where he tells me honestly that I don't need to do it right now instead of fixing something that ain't broke. I've taken my laptop and worked in his waiting room, watched Netflix shows and even been educated on fixes. So don't regret going to the other guys when you can give his shop a try.

I wish I could give negative stars. I had my 2002 Chevy Camaro fixed here 8 years ago. When I…read moreoriginally picked up the car one month after they originally started repairs, I immediately noticed that some of the door trim pieces were cracked as if they had been pulled away from the body at a 90° to remove them. I pointed it out and they ordered replacements, no problem. I was a happy customer. Now, 8 years later, I've moved to Arizona and car starts overheating. Assuming this has something to do with the extreme heat and needing a different thermostat, I replace that. The problem persists so I take it to a shop. They were able to find the issue which was caused from shoddy repair work. Apparently, over the last 8 years, my wiring harness has been rubbing on part of my frame because it wasn't routed correctly after the repair, severing the wires to one of the cooling fans. Mind you, the repair shop I took it to called ME to ask if the vehicle had be ever been in an accident. So I call Parson's -mostly because the accident wasnt my fault and being 8 years ago I have literally no idea which insurance company the repairs were handled through. To say the representative on the phone was unhelpful would be an understatement. I was actually told "Well, you should have come to us long before 8 years after the repair." ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME? The issue was just brought to my attention and had I stayed in Rockford forever, I probably would have never noticed until a wire to something more serious was severed. I'm not in the business of repairing cars after accidents YOU are. And it's YOUR job to make sure you have competent people doing it, similarly to how it's my responsibility to make sure I'm competent at MY job. Which has NOTHING to do with automotive repair. Maybe, if you'd have fixed the car correctly E I G H T Y E A R S A G O we wouldn't be having this conversation and you wouldn't be getting a bad review. And now it's back to messing up again (not their fault). For $200 you'd think they'd have replaced a part or something, but nope.
