My thanks to all concerned at LoftPlan for the high quality of the work which has been put in, from initial sales inquiry to hand-over, to give us 2 huge new bedrooms, a shower room and landing upstairs and a redesigned open space downstairs. Their recommendations have led to innovative improvements over the plans we had accepted before contacting LoftPlan, which have greatly simplified and enhanced the overall design. The use of soundproofing plasterboard has reduced the impact of traffic noise as we requested, and the removal of the kitchen chimney has exchanged an anachronism we had learned to live with for many more square metres of usable space. We appreciate the careful matching of our unusual window design. Thoughtful tweaks like hiding the central heating tank above the conversion and locating radiators to optimise standing room for furniture will lead to a more comfortable home. As the work has progressed more detailed attention has been given to the appearance and ergonomics of the new and remodelled rooms. We have benefited in every case from the help of your experienced colleagues to find the best solution. Any work not considered by the stage managers as being of high enough quality was quickly and efficiently redone, even if another contractor might have thought it acceptable. I found this impressive. Throughout the job their highly-skilled workmen have been friendly and polite to our family and considerate of our neighbours, they have kept the site tidy and safe, and all got on well with our dogs. I was encouraged to take photos daily, as they are justifiably proud of their work. The 2 project stage managers efficiently organised the different teams of workers who were here each day, dove-tailing their activities as required. By maintaining regular contact, they ensured that not just our specifications, but also our wishes have been considered and acted on. I recommended LoftPlan to a friend who was considering engaging them for a loft conversion, as being reliable and performing high quality work, when our conversion was at an earlier stage. We just wanted to say how impressed we are with our finished project. Right from the start you gave us valuable advice, some of which we would never of even have thought of. Unfortunately we did not have Permitted Development so therefore had to go through a planning application. Once again, you were very helpful with the issues that you encountered and resolved. Loftplan have just finished installing my loft conversion and I'm happy to report an all round good experience from start to finish. Loftplan have years of experience in the field and it shows in their designs. We asked various local builders to come up with a design for our loft and staircase layout, and Loftplan's was by far the best. Loftplan's fitters worked incredibly hard to get the work done on schedule but without compromising on the quality of the work which was first class. They were polite and considerate whilst working on our property. The supervisors made sure we were happy at every stage of the project and bent over backwards to make improvements as the work was being done to make sure we totally pleased with the end result. Loftplan also did a great job of matching the period detail on our original staircase so that the new staircase rising up to the loft looks like it has always been there, another example of the careful attention to detail that we experienced throughout. Well done Loftplan for the recent conversion of the loft and garage that you completed on our property. From the start when we first met Alan at the initial consultation, through to the end completion and sign off with the building inspector I can only praise the standard of design, supervision and workmanship that went into the build. We used Loftplan several years ago to provide an extra bedroom with en-suite bathroom. We were impressed with the team who were (at all times without exception) polite, professional and hardworking from start to finish. The project organisation was superb; completed on time and we were delighted with the end result. Recently, we had a problem with a window and we were impressed at their willingness to correct this. The work was carried out with the minimum of fuss and was finished to an exceptionally high standard. This level of customer service is hard to find these days! We found the 'stage payments' schedule very easy to understand and it worked well; enabling us to have equal control of the project and at no point finding this process unworkable. Not wanting to move from our lovely home we decided to convert our loft to give us more family space with the imminent arrival of baby No.2. (and now soon to be baby No.3!) We now have a fantastic playroom (for the children during the day and for us in the evening) and shower room, which might one day make a fantastic master bedroom and ensuite! It meant we didn't have to move which was definitely the best decision we have made. Our house has been considerably extended having commissioned Loft Plan to undertake our loft conversion. The large master bedroom, bathroom and small "office" area is now the crown jewel of the property. The finishing is exemplary, and the full bathroom suite fitted ingeniously. No space is wasted. The windows fill the room with light and provide commanding views. As promised, over the period of 8 weeks, work started promptly at 7:30 in the morning and finished at 5pm. When required, Loft Plan stayed later to finish a task so as to ensure the project remained on schedule. For this we were very grateful. When it came to the quality of the build, they were faultless. I had Loftplan complete my Loft conversion and I'd recommend them if you are interested in having your loft converted. They are a proffessional organisation who provided an excellent service from quote stage to completion. They helped me maximise the rooms available in my loft, I ended up with two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom and were very creative with their input. A designer was appointed who understood exactly our needs, and came up with a creative design, on budget. After the plans had been approved, the office staff contacted us with suggested commencement dates, and the work started on time as agreed.
