They usually have a nice sales section in the back and most of the time, they have 50-60% off extra on those sale items. I did not see anything that I liked, but I did check some of their pants and socks. Nice selecion. In 1989, J.Crew opened its first retail store, in South Street Seaport in downtown Manhattan..today there are hundreds of stores, mostly in the USA, but also in some international locales.

An adorable young woman ( I think her name was Jayla) approached me and asked when was the last time I was fitted for a bra. She then took me into a rom and measured. I ended up purchasing two bras ($55.00 each) so the buy one get one was a nice treat! I also bought a beautiful pair of pajamas. The store was immaculate and all the employees were very pleasant and knowledgeable. My bras fit excellent and I am one happy customer!

When I asked for a fitting room, I mentioned to the employee it was my first experience and I would have questions. From that moment on she clung to me like my personal shopper. She was grabbing different leggings and sizes to help me find the perfect fit. She was honest about the material, wear and tear, and for that I am so grateful. I walked out of there with my first pair of leggings, less intimidation of the store, and knowledge about the sizes and styles. Thank you! (I think her name was Julianne). I hope my other experiences are as great as this one. As for the store, it is very quaint but also has a homey feel to it. I was in the store for 20-30 minutes. I noticed this trend when any older lady came in. They only greeted the younger teens. They had personal conversations about the Hunger Games and Harry Potter while I was the only one in the store. On the other hand, the woman named Diamond was very nice and respectful. She noticed that I was not being helped and was not judgmental at all. I was put off by the other 2 ladies and felt that they were very unprofessional.
