Staff is just not very friendly when i go in. I stopped shopping here because of this. There's a perfectly good hardware store downtown norway next to the post office. i recommend that one. There's lots of hardware stores around, i'd rather shop where the staff is friendly and welcoming. read more

After spending thousands and thousands of dollars building an entire house using Lofholms materials with no major issues, I felt comfortable having them install the kitchen cabinets they sold me, and the countertops they fabricated. The wall mounted cabinets are at different elevations, many of the door handles are mounted cockeyed, they had to move an electrical outlet to fit the hole they made in the backsplash, and the countertop they fabricated is falling apart after only 5 years. After weeks of trying to get management to do something about the countertop they finally offered to repair it. I explained that due to the crappy work in the first place, repair was not an option and asked for (at least) a partial refund. That was 4 weeks ago and I expect, much like their poor workmanship, I'll be left unhappy. They don't seem to understand that the "loyal to local business" concept is supposed to work both ways. read more
