Judging by the taste, i think it was marinated in balsamic vinegar, which I've never tasted but it must have done something right as the meat was so tasty and so tender. I could have eaten this all day long. I definitely recommend that anyone coming here should try this dish. The red wine was nothing to write home about but pleasant and drinkable all the same. My friend seemed to enjoy here white wine. After a couple of hours, we were moved to the conservatory at the back of the restaurant as someone had booked the table in the window. The conservatory was spacious and perfect for cold, sunny weather. For two large, & two small glasses of each wine and the five dishes, we paid £65. Good value we thought. The service is good, the staff friendly, there's a nice atmosphere and, most importantly, the food is good.
