I'm so happy we stumbled into this amazing shop while visiting last fall. This type of retail store is my favorite: full of locally made items, sparkly shiny things, and something for everyone. I had a blast browsing all the shelves and we bought a card and some stickers. They had a huge selection of super fun ornaments, ranging from a bottle of ranch to La Croix cans to a bowl of ramen. If I could be sure they wouldn't get broken in my suitcase, I probably would have gotten one. Other highlights of this shop include a huge selection of fun and cheeky cards (my favorite), a wall of silly socks, and even some apparel. They have lots of kitchen/houseware items, sassy oven mitts, cocktail mixers and treats, candy, stationery and pens, games, toys, books, great selection of items for kids, jewelry, and even more! I loved this shop and would definitely stop in again and again if I lived in the area. They have six locations throughout the city so check them out!

What a wonderful delight this little shop is! We were wandering around Williamsburg looking for fun and stumbled across this storefront rife with intrigue. We just had to go inside! And, oh were we glad we did. We instantly wanted to purchase everything in the store. Immediately upon entering the shop, there is a sizable collection of greeting cards. I am a huge proponent of the witty card, and Lockwood is replete with them. Further investigation of the shop yielded even more discoveries. A fabulous selection of candles. Sundry Brooklyn and New York ephemera. Books for kids. And best of all--- an altogether wonderful selection of socks. GLORIOUS SOCKS. I have never seen such a bevy of fun designs. My girlfriend bought me a pair of dumpster fire socks which are now personal treasures. Oh, and the shopkeepers are super nice. Check it out!

This will surely be the best gift shop for me this year. Something for everyone, for any occasion. And stuff for the gift giver as well ;)

The woman behind the counter was very helpful in trying to assist me with finding something, and she even suggested some other stationary stores in the area too. I could tell she really cared about my shopping experience, and she was very knowledgeable. Well, despite her recommendations, I returned to Yours Truly days later and purchased some things from there. It just had more of what I was looking for, and I was more than happy to give the woman the business. Overall, it's a great stationary store to check out whilst in Brooklyn!

Their heaviest area of product seems to be greeting cards and wrapping paper along with pens, paper, post-its and other desk-type stationery. Staff is kind and product quality seems fine, although you will pay for that quality--that quirky card or small swatch of bespoke wrapping paper will be in the $7-10 range. Felt like the kind of shop I would normally adore, but I keep stopping in and leaving with nothing. It is incredibly niche for people interested in special or unique or bespoke products--and I do love them for that, it feels like the Brooklyn way, and I love that we have these bespoke shops for some people. This one is just a smidge too fancy and impractical and pricey for me.

To get to the second floor there's an escalator which is nice but to get back down you have to take the stairs which you can imagine is not comfortable with a stroller.
