I have NEVER bashed a company on Facebook before, but I am beyond livid at the lack of professionalism from Locktek Locksmiths in Smiths Station, AL. My husband had been speaking to Zach and "one of his employees" for a week about coming to program a key fob for us. The employee told us on Monday that Zach was out of town until Wednesday and we would need to call back then. My husband called back on Wednesday and was told by the employee again that Zach was still out of town, but it would be Friday before he could program our key fob. We agreed. We did not hear back from anyone so my husband called again and talked to the employee on Thursday to find out a soecific time. He said don't worry, I've got you on the books. After explaining that we had some errands to run and needed to know what time Friday he was coming, we were told (by the employee) that it would be be Friday afternoon but wouldn't give us a time. Around 5:30 my husband called again and was told that Zach was on his way back from Valley, AL (about 30 minutes from our house) and was still coming to help us. At 7:50pm, when had had heard nothing from Zach, my husband texted him to thank him for the no show and he had the nerve to say that he was about to call my husband to come over. So, he really wanted us to believe that he planned to leave his house and make a service call at 8pm after we could never get anyone to call us or schedule an actual time. If he had just been honest, and called my hysband to say that he was running late we would have understood. But in the end he was a total jerk with his texts even though he was a no show and was absolutely unprofessional in handling our service call. Will never use him or give this company a good recommendation. Terrible customer service. read more
