They may be great at helping you if you're locked out, but if you need anything else, I'd use a different company. I've been trying to replace our lockset for the door of our condo since July. Called this company and they sent someone out to look. The tech said it's an interconnected lockset so they needed to check if they had to order it. A week goes by - no communication on if they had it, so I contacted them. They said they were checking their stock (for a week). Another 10 days go by and nothing from them, so I contact them again. They say they need to order it and it'll be about 6 weeks. So over 2 weeks of no communication...and seems no action on their part. September 2 they finally come to install the lockset. The manufacturer sent the wrong parts so could not install. They tell me they'll check to see when they can get what we need. So that same day I sent a detailed message with what we needed and we need to just get this done...since I had no idea if the office knew what was going on and/or if they were doing anything. No response until 8 days later..."We are expecting to get the parts next week and will contact you as soon as we get the parts." Over two months wasted and had to chase these guys to get ANY information from them. I ended up ordering the parts needed myself and have a different company (which is responsive) lined up to install.

After determining the options we elected to go with a new door and Vlad repaired the old door so it could function until the new door arrived. A little over a month later new door was ready and Daniel the technician was sent out to complete the task of taking out the entire old system and installing the new door. Great first impression from Daniel in that he called and confirmed he was on his way. Upon his arrival he started the project. 2 and 1/2 hours later he was ready for me to settle up with the new door fully operational. We had a great experience with Vlad and Daniel and would highly recommend this company should you have a need for a garage door replacement or repair.

I explained what was happening with the lock and he was agreeable that we should work on the back door lock instead of damaging the antique one since I was sure it was an easy fix from the inside. He tried a few options before resorting to drilling through the lock, explaining cost alternatives along the way so that I wasn't caught off guard at the end. His manner was professional which I appreciated since I was alone. The following day the company called to follow up and verify what was charged on my card. Really great service during a stressful situation for me!

Did my googles, picked the first 2, 4 stars, read them chose one and scheduled an appointment. The tech showed up in a mini van with a huge dent, no business logos, no company shirt, etc. Red flags I ignored. I was not aware that calls would be dispatched out to contractors. I also never considered fake reviews on sites. I felt very uncomfortable with that persons work + IMMEDIATELY called Lockworx upon their exit. I explained that the last company dispatched their calls out and if his did the same I would continue making calls. I was very upset, Jay listened to my concerns, was very calm and kind. He then explained that he was a local business and could be there to assist, shortly. When Jay came in he politely, asked if i would share what happened. I shared my experience and why i was getting my locks changed twice within an hour. Jay educated me with tips to search for a good company in the future, about using local business. Of course I will always use this company for any locksmith work + will only refer Lockworx to anyone asking me for a referral. Lance came to my house on time, quickly analyzed the problem and repaired the broken lock. The fee he charged was completely reasonable for the service he provided. I needed the locks on my front and back door changed because of some untrustworthy roommates I had recently kicked out. Even though it was late in the day, he inquired about needing the service that day, which was a pleasant surprise. Because I was going to be home all weekend I assured him it would be fine to do Saturday or Sunday. He scheduled an appointment between 9-11 the next morning and said Dan would be calling me before he came. At 8:30am I got the call, he asked how many locks needed to be changed (3) and that he would arrive at 9am. He arrived right on time, and was done within 30-40 minutes. When he left I even noticed he had glued/secured the piece that surrounded my deadbolt lock that had been loose for awhile without hesitating. We went with the cheapest quote (not a-max) thinking we were getting a bargain...after all...how hard is it to make a fob? After 3 hours in the rain dealing with the cheaper and incompetent locksmith we decided to tell him to stop what he was doing and call someone else. After going back over the list we called....we decided to read reviews and let me say...A-Max had fantastic reviews so we decided to give them a shot....
