I was driving when the text was sent and missed the cancellation. There was no communication over the phone. I received a message and texts asking me to reschedule for next Tuesday or Thursday which I did. Today, I drove again from Westerville about 45 minutes to find out Anna is not at the salon, no manager on the job, no phone number to contact a manager and was told someone else could do the hair cut, but not the highlights. That person changed her mind, I was told to wait because some texts about availability went out, but that was a "lie", too. This situation is unacceptable and unprofessional! I had to drive twice from Westerville about 45 minutes each way for an appointment that was cancelled or never scheduled! This is unbelievable! I couldn't make this up...later, they had the audacity to text about my next appointment. I don't support unprofessional businesses that I cannot rely on. Also, I don't recommend this place because they luck of professional etiquette.

When I walked in I was super surprised to be greeted by a virtual assistant through a monitor. It was something straight out of the Jetsons. After they asked me a few questions they happened to have an opening an hour later so I swiped that one up and came back after a bit. I was randomly assigned a hairstylist, Minnie, and it was like the stars in the universe aligned because we clicked right away. She asked me all about my hair and what I was looking for. I'm a wing it type of person but I did have some things in mind. I ended up getting a trim with some wisby longish bangs and she was able to keep my length which was awesome. At the end she mentioned the different products she used in my hair and sent me home with a "care card" with recommendations on when to return and who else to see if she wasn't in. I really had super high hopes but also realized that she won't be able to transition/ color blend my hair immediately since my grow out had just begun. I was hoping for some grey or very light highlights and a good cut. As far as for the haircut: She is amazing!!!!! For the coloring: My outcome was pretty but not what I hoped. Rayna chose highlights and a lighter color. Seriously it looked good! but for me wanting to transition to my natural grey the color was to "warm" and I wish she would have chosen a cooler tone.

Emily has been able to give me the most natural, "lived-in" blonde highlights that are not only low maintenance, but stay bright for months! Thanks to a sheer act of spontaneity I finally made it happen and Penzone made the cut. I just happened to be scrolling through my Yelp app looking for salons nearby and Penzone jumped out at me because this location has been there forever. I've also had my hair cut at one of their other locations forever ago and when I looked at their availability, they had an appointment the very next day at 5pm. I didn't even care who the stylist was, I just needed it done. I arrived right on time, checked in, and grabbed a beverage while I waited. It wasn't long before I was greeted by my stylist, Sage. She was easy to talk to, listened to what I wanted, and gave good advice and direction when I was tempted to do something I wasn't planning on doing. I knew exactly what I wanted, as I was looking to get the same cut I did last summer. Your basic long bob, about collar bone length. We did the washing and cutting and drying and cutting again and I was out of there in about an hour and a half. I'm really pleased with it and enjoyed Sage's approach so I made an appointment to come back in a few months. The price point was cheaper than the place I used to go to and I was way more satisfied.
