He chose The Quest and I felt like it was great for our family's first time. When we walked in, there was someone at the front to get us checked in. Since we signed the waivers online, we didn't have to worry about them at check in. We sat in the front lobby and waited for the room to be prepped. They had two tv monitors in the lobby that showed the different rooms and the leaderboards. Once they were ready for us, they had us put our belongings in a locker and then walked us to the hallway to watch a short video explaining the escape room and the rules. Afterwards, they took us to the room so we could begin. I won't give anything away, but all 6 of us had such a good time! We worked together and figured out the clues. We made it out of the escape room with just 6 minutes to spare, but we were so proud of ourselves. It was our first one and I felt like we did awesome. Once it was over, the door opened and there was someone there to direct us back to the lobby. They offered to give us $7 off each ticket if we purchased some in advance (they are good for a year). We didn't hesitate and bought 6 more tickets. After we got home, they emailed me with our stats. It was fun to see how long it took us and what badges we earned. I think we will definitely do more escape rooms in the future. Every single person in our group had so much fun! If you're thinking about doing an escape room, DO IT!

The people were very friendly and the rooms had fun stories and complex puzzles but we ran into…read moreissues when we had 5 people trying to work on one puzzle. The rooms are set up to only solve one piece of the puzzle at a time which can leave some people out and not participating in the puzzle as much. I think it would be much funner with small groups 2-3. It also makes the room take much longer going one piece by piece and less of the puzzle as a whole. And each of the puzzles are individual and don't have anything to do with each other.

I was excited after finding tickets on Groupon as a newly reconnected ex-boyfriend and I wanted to…read moredo something fun together and thought we would enjoy this. We got there and found out that we were grouped with four other people, fine. While we were waiting, I went to the bathroom only to hear the girl at the front desk, talking to my date rekindling ex-boyfriend, asking him if I was his mother!!!!!!! then asking his age!!!!! anyone could tell by the way we were interacting that I was not his mother!!! yes we have an age difference, but that is no one's business! As for the game itself, while it was challenging, the room was quite small, probably twice the size of my walk-in closet, and the people that we were with were very loud, and took all of the fun out of everything because they would not allow anyone to really do anything. The one woman said it was her birthday and was very loud and had to be the one to do everything.. no one on their team would take any suggestions of what something could be and were then quick to ask for hints from the same girl who asked if I was my date's mother. Oh, by the way, she even referred to me as the mother to the other four people who I didn't even know. WTF! And the people who were in the group were my age!! it's not like I look like I'm 200 years old!! As for the escape room itself, it was challenging on some aspects, but then again the clues didn't really have anything to do with the theme of Egypt. And neither were the clues in some aspects clear. Such as mentioning numbers, glowing,, yet nothing glowed. I would recommend no more than four people in a group and definitely go with people who work well together and don't try to dominate the whole thing because I felt like my money was wasted, and I eventually just sat in the chair and watched everybody in the other group since obviously my date and I were in the way.
