Also features a really old cannon in the parking lot between the swimming pool and gold course. At the second playground there is a swingset for wheelchairs and toddler seats. Normally everyone that comes here is super friendly and corteous like on the running track. Doesnt cost a cent to come here and its always nice to get fresh air and have fun!

To top it off we had to pay $5 for restrooms that you couldn't use, grounds that were unkept and there was no swimming area. There was a port-a-potty that wasn't maintained. There's also a wonderful aroma of honeysuckle wafting through the park and it was fun to show the kids how to get the sweet nectar from it. It only got 4 stars because there are no bathrooms! There is a Kum and go .4 mi away but that's still pretty inconvenient. Right now it looks like there is only street parking and there is one open parking spot and one handicapped spot open. There's another parking lot on the car side but it is blocked off because of all the construction. So, make sure the kiddos all go to the bathroom before you head out and you'll have a great time!

Pathways have been added to get park goers from point to point without the need to trudge through muddy wet ground when it is rainy season. The playground surfaces are all weatherproof, which is a fantastic addition to the playground. This park has plenty of space for picnic and pavilions for parties. It has a train that operates seasonally through the park that features a tunnel and other exciting activities. There is a large city pool also included in the park that has a brand new structure, including a very nice competitive swim area stands, diving area, etc, along with changing rooms, showers, concessions, etc. There is also a putt putt course located within the park. Additionally, the park includes a tennis center and tennis lessons as well as organized tennis events and a tennis league.

Unique for the history of the Butterfield Railyard and downtown Rogers but it's also next to some a busy street on the other side. A trash truck drove by and crop dusted us with some strong trashy smell. The playground has a bunch of hills and climbing obstacles/tunnels. Benches surround the playground. The park is lined with recycled rubber, so it's soft and didn't get hot under the baking sun. The splash pad beneath the three faux water towers were fun as well. Each water tower has its own personality. On the other end you'll find a retired and renovated train crane around a playground with elevated slides and a lookout tower. Beyond that the Butterfield amphitheatre where I bet they host some concerts and festivals on the weekends and holidays. The City of Rogers made good use of a the historic railroad space. As the trees grow in and up, there will be more shade and I bet when as the fall approaches, more people will come to this park. Clean bathrooms are in the yellow container (railroad track side), along with a working water fountain. Nice park.
