I recently purchased one of the townhomes at Brooks Row and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Lock7's eye for design is truly unparalleled. To start, the open layout really maximizes the living space and has been perfect for entertaining guests. But beyond that, its the little details they considered when building these units that I really appreciate. The tone of the millwork offers a beautiful contrast to the oak wood flooring, the floor to ceiling windows let so much light in, and then this may sound minor, but the pendant lights over the island are such a nice touch. And the door on my shower is frameless... it's super cool.
It seems like so much new construction provides blatant examples of where the developer was trying to cut costs. Not the case at Brooks Row. The appliances are state of the art (they're GE, what do you expect?), the high efficiency HVAC system and Nest Thermostat together have significantly reduced my utility costs relative to my former apartment, and I always get compliments on the oak wood flooring in the living area (real oak wood, not that porcelain tile that's made to look like wood...).
Anyways, couldn't be happier. I highly recommend you checking out Brooks Row. Or if you're looking at other areas of the city, then I would suggest checking out some of Lock7's other developments. I've been to some of their other open houses, which is how I ultimately found Brooks Row, and their top notch craftsmanship is evident in every project I've seen. read more
