This campsite is close to the centre of Fort William, so could be very worthwhile looking into, if you are arriving at Fort William by public transport.
We got a taxi there from the bus station, because it was raining, but it is easily walkable. Taxi fare was £6 or £7.
The holiday park has caravans and cabins in situ and there is ample space for camping at the bottom of the site, near the river which sounds lovely as you lie in your sleeping bag.
The campsite has free hot showers and they are very nice. This place is really clean and looked after really well by the lovely people who run it. They were incredibly helpful to me.
It's not far away from The Great Glen Way either, if that's what you are doing here. Neptune's Staircase is 30 mins walk from the campsite along the road.
Camping was £7 per night.
