The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The club house is very clean and the sporting good store has everything you need. The course is well maintained and the mountain view is very impressive. This course is great for a beginner and a seasoned player. What I liked most was the laid back feel and unpretentious of the place where you can find at most golf courses. The prices are very reasonable and the golf carts are brand new. If your in the area you should definitely play here.

Their website lays out what you need to have to demonstrate you are a tourist. We weren't asked to show papers or anything, hey, this is chilled out Woodstock NY for God's sake! We used the putting green and had fun practicing our strokes. They don't have tee times so guests are asked to call in to see what times are good times for guests. First priority goes to members. The course is well taken care of and seems to have some challenging spots. It's mostly flat which is good for sight lines and for seeing your ball and the flags. They have plenty of golf carts. The course is beautiful, phenomenal views of the lake and foliage this time time of year. The course is not overly long, but a few dog legs and strategic tree placement makes the course challenging. The course is in phenomenal condition, the staff takes amazing care of the course. The country club has a snack bar with sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs etc. There is a full service restaurant with a great chef as I understand. There are tennis courts and many activities. If you have the opportunity to play the course, I highly recommend it.
