It is not easy to find, difficult to drive to, and serves a very poor breakfast. Nonetheless, it is a good option as a base if you wish to stay in the Palermo area for a day or two. Palermo itself is a difficult city to navigate and has a lot of slum areas, and is perhaps best avoided if you want a stress-free visit to Sicily.

There were alley ways all around and every street was lined with marble. It was very quiet in the hotel. They have two small elevators for guests. We had a suite with a king size bed and upstairs there was a large closet area and another bedroom with three twin beds. Lots of room! The restroom was large with a shower, toilet and a bidet. They have breakfast for €7 or €9. Forgot how much exactly. We opted to forego their breakfast and instead go out to explore the surrounding area and grab breakfast elsewhere.

They were not friendly at all, the older man sorta barked at us, especially when we're trying to decide what we wanted to drink...then when my husband was looking through the tea bags to decide what he wanted, he barked again to see what he was looking for....crazy! Our last night there I decided to go to the rooftop to see what the city looked like in the dark. I got stuck up there. The elevator door wouldn't open!!!! I called the front desk (thankfully there was a working phone up there!) to tell her I couldn't get the door to open so I could ride back downstairs. I finally got her to send the elevator back upstairs, by pressing the 8th floor button. When it arrived, the door opened and I was able to get back down to our floor to get back to my room!
