Everything is ala carte, you can pick and choose your proteins by the pound or rib count. Sides were available but we decided to get the chopped salad. When asked what we wanted I responded with "everything." That ended up being 1/3 pound smoked chicken, smoked pork and brisket, and a 1/2 rack of ribs. Superb flavors that were even enhanced by the three bbq sauces available - spicy, sweet and mustard based. Each sauce was distinctive and flavorful. Salad was only ok. It was big but nothing special. We should have tried some sides. Some looked very good. I saw a loaded potato that turned my head. We ate outside on a picnic table. No music, no table service, no bar ... nothing but good food. Years of coming here I have never had had bad service. The servers have always been friendly, responsive, pleasant and warm. Sometimes when they get very busy you nay have to grab your servers attention, but when that's happened it was nothing bothersome. BUT the food!!!! Simply put I love the food here!! The host was friendly and eager to get us a table, but nothing available- 15 min wait. Two seats open at the bar so we moved quick! Makala was our bartender. She was fantastic; friendly and super knowledgeable. We shared a smash burger, relax haters we had a late lunch and wanted room for dessert. Smash burger with fries was fantastic.
