I cannot say ENOUGH about Zhilbert and the Local Events Rental team!! I used this company to rent everything needed to host a 420 person outdoor wedding at a ranch. From the initial phone call I could tell that I was dealing with an upfront and honest person. Nothing like the 5 other rental campaniles that I called for quotes who changed their prices depending on my responses. If I had a sound of surprise and "really, that's pretty good" then they would say they made a mistake and it was in fact a higher cost. If I sounded like I didn't like the price they mentioned then they'd get defensive and explain how they'd have to lift this or break down that and it's a lot of labor. Local Events Rental was nothing like that and HONESTLY had much better prices than 5 other rental companies that I called. Zhilbert was great! I came in a couple weeks before my wedding date looking for pillars for my flowers and a chuppah. He was willing right away to tend to my needs as I was losing time. He customized the pillars for me by covering them with a beautiful white fabric and the chuppah he constructed for me was simply gorgeous! I also bought two huge roses I requested to be placed on either side of the chuppah which he and his team happily added. I found out days before my wedding day that the staff at my event space was unable to take my heavy floral arraignments upstairs to my reception space, so Zhilbert and his team offered to take them upstairs free of charge!!! What can I say about Jilbert (Jibo as he's known) and his rental service that hasn't already been said. After getting quotes from basically every rental company in LA we were referred to Local Events through our DJ Armond. We made an appointment with Jilbert to visit his modest showroom and were shown a catalog of all the other options he had available for our wedding date. We found a lot of the same styles as other rental places, but his stuff barely looked used (maybe not that many people rent gold chairs and tables). He helped us design our table settings to go with the furniture, but what surprised us the most is getting a quote right on the spot - coming in $500 less than the other cheapest rental company we were in talks with. And the rentals we got were not "cheap" at all, there just didn't seem to be any price gouging on his end (we booked about 6 months before our wedding, and he told us most places will charge more for the short notice). In total we rented 350 gold chivari chairs, our bridal table with king & queen chairs, cake table, and rectangular gold & glass tables for our parents and bridal party. This included setup and tear down at 3am. Jibo and his crew showed up and worked with the event planner to make everything look spectacular. I forgot to mention we also rented white drapes from him and he even designed it to stand out with a unique tassel look. My wife was so pleased. You'll hate yourself for not messaging him.
