This little gem is a favourite of mine! What is a croffle, you might ask? It's a cross between a croissant and a waffle! Sooooo delicious!!!! I enjoy the Cinnamon and Brown Sugar ones. They also make the best omelette I've ever eaten! So much variety on the menu....it all looks amazing. The food was amazing! Although service was a big slow (we were a big party), the food and the Self Grill stones totally make up for it! Modern lights and the restaurant is very modern. Came here with my bro and his girlfriend on my way through. 10% busy on a Sunday at 6PM. Nice place to eat in- feels more upscale. Waiter was super friendly and very very chatty. He recommended the Croffle Club Sandwich so I got that. 9/10. Wish there was more croffle as it made the chicken portion look big but was hard to eat and I loved the croffle taste. Brother's girlfriend got the same as me and loved it. Brother got the C& C Crunchy Chickena nd Croffle. I thought this was a 10/10 dish. Loved hte breading on the chicken and sweet caramel drizzle. Local Croffle House is located in the Quality Inn Hotel in Northside Red Deer, and is situated in a large space with dim lighting and a classy but rustic, farmhouse type vibe. There is plenty of parking as it is shared with the hotel. I've found that reservations aren't necessary as there is plenty of seating and usually not too busy, with the exception of perhaps popular days such as Valentine's Day, but I have never dined here on those days so I can't confirm. The ambience is very quiet and the servers are always so lovely. I've had the pleasant opportunity to dine here several times for dinner, but just recently learned that they also serve brunch, so we decided to check out their brunch menu. They have $7 breakfast deals every day of the week which I thought was great, and they have a good mix of sweet and savoury options as well. We decided on the classic Croffles with cinnamon and sugar, topped with nutella and whipped cream, as well as the Croffle Bennies with Bulgogi Beef, Ham and Tomato, and Bacon and Tomato; I did appreciate that you're able to mix and match toppings if you're getting multiple bennies! The Croffles were amazing - they are very crispy on the outside, and nice and fluffy on the inside and definitely resembled the layers of a croissant. It looks like they make their whip cream in-house which I very much appreciated as the cream tasted fresh and not too sweet. I was also pleasantly surprised that they were topped with candied oranges, which was a nice touch to add some zest. I would definitely recommend trying their croffles! The Croffle Bennies were also great, but of course, the moisture from the sauce and hot toppings resulted in soggy croffles, causing them to lose their signature flakiness so ultimately, it didn't offer a unique experience as the texture was very similar to regular English muffin bennies. Out of the three toppings, the bulgogi beef was definitely our favourite as it offered a great combination of sweet and salty which paired very well with their hollandaise sauce. This place is definitely on the top of my list now for brunch options in Red Deer. I cannot wait to return in the near future! read more

Found this gem tonight! We started with some wings. Crispy and sauced to perfection. Wife and I then dove into the Korean platter, what a treat. Five meats to keep our taste buds dancing. House salad was made with love, the fries were dressed for success, and the crittos were a crispy mashed potato treasure. Our server Ken was the best in Red Deer!! read more

I have been there 3 times in the last month and highly recommended the place, only to be very disappointed today. I paid for food and was not allowed to take it home as the previous two times. If I had known this I would not have ordered it. Very poor customer service and I will not be back. I have never been to a place that will NOT allow you to take the food you paid for, home. Extremely disappointed and they should make that known on the menu. Why does it matter to them if I don't finish my food. During our meal I just finished telling the chef that the food was good but that is a ridiculous rule and never heard this at a restaurant before. I won't be back. read more

the food was great. were there with my co workers to celebrate my birthday. when the server learned that im waiting for 13-15 people he said that they give 20% discount to 8 people and up. that made me happy. when i am going to pay the bill i asked the cashier before i pay if the 20% is already less to what will i pay. he said yes. so i pay, put the receipt on my purse, but to my dismay when i get home i checked the receipt but no 20% discount and the tip is already included to my bill. so "trust issue".. i have no problem to pay the total bill but i hope he never said that he gave me 20% discount. and how he knew how much will i give for a tip.. read more
