This is the first negative review that I have ever left for a business, so take that into…read moreconsideration. I typically go to the Chase Bank in Fenton. Today was my first visit to this location due to my schedule. I am a business client, and pulled into the business line at 4:47pm. The vehicle in front of us must have not had their deposit prepared because we waited for quite some time, and the teller had the drawer open to the vehicle. We were frustrated with the unprepared customer, but know that was no fault of the teller. We finally pulled up at 5:03pm. I'm aware that it was after closing and very mindful of that, however we had been in line for quite some time. The teller did not speak to us AT ALL, that too is okay... I guess. There was a man standing behind him, I assumed maybe he was training. I think I may have assumed wrong. The man behind him started pacing, and actually blatantly checked the time on his wrist watch four times. I tried to get his attention to let him know that I was aware that it was after closing, but we had waited for quite some time. He was so very rude. We asked his name and he did not respond, the teller however did tell us that the mans name was Steve. Steve we are sorry that the vehicle ahead of us was unprepared. We're also sorry that you worked until 5:07pm for my two small business deposits. Lastly I am sorry that you are so un-kind, and unprofessional. I had a long day at work today too, and I'm disappointed that my transaction with you only added to that. I Hope that you consider a career outside of customer service very soon. Take care.

This place is a joke! They have no fraud protection, I have 3000 in fraudulent charges and climbing…read moreand the branch couldn't do anything, the help line couldn't do anything, they said I have to wait till they posted to fix it, can't talk to anyone on the weekend to fix the issue! I canceled my debit card and more charges posted after it was canceled. They wouldn't cash my shit cause of it, now I can't pay power bill or car insurance cause of it oh and not mention I can't buy food for our kids cause they won't cash our work checks. As soon as this gets fixed they can fuck off, I'm closing my account and going somewhere else

I went to the ATM last night after work…read moreto deposit $230, the ATM malfunctioned and spit back $15 at me and kept the rest. $215 that I made at work that day. I needed it in my account to pay bills the following day (today). I was unable to contact anyone since it was 8:23pm. I woke up at 845am so I could be the first to call when headquarters opened at 9am. Basically long story short, they are not crediting me my $215 and I have to wait 10 business days to see if I even get MY money! I spoke with a supervisor and then a manager and no one was of any sort of help to me. The only positive note is a very nice woman at the Howell location who was advocating for me to get my money to the customer service workers. I WILL be closing my account once the dispute is settled. I have banked with Lake Trust for over 5 years and this is the most absurd thing.

Unfortunately our mother lost her battle to cancer on February 20th - 8 days later my sister (the…read moreadministrator of the estate) and myself went to where our mother did her banking Metro North Federal Credit Union in Waterford, MI with her death certificate and probate paper naming my sister as the administrator. We intended to close her account and open an account at our bank for our mothers' estate to continue paying her monthly bills mortgage, utilities, funeral expenses and misc debts. We were told we could NOT close the account and collect the funds because our mother had a credit card through their establishment and they were taking all her money to pay the card that was current and NOT delinquent at that time. We asked for proof that she signed and was aware of their tactics and they could not produce us with this documentation. Then to add fuel to the fire 15 days later they have the audacity to mail her a letter that her loan is delinquent with late fees added - how can we pay her loan through them if they have all of her money? And knowing that she is in fact deceased how can they charge her late fees - who does this? They are atrocious! We would just request that they release the funds to us ASAP so we can take care of our mothers finances. I would also add their customer service tactics are poor as well the lady that did this said "I know her well!" And never bothered to say anything that someone with a heart would say like I am sorry for your loss or I am so sorry she passed nope she was only concerned with the dollar bil signs!
