I am a first-time home buyer working with Llewellyn Tejada and his team (Fitzgerald Figueroa and Adriana Gjeloshi). They have been truly outstanding to work with in navigating the difficult process of buying a coop in NYC and honestly I have no idea where I'd be without them. Let me detail why they're so excellent: Helpfulness. When I first put an offer in and it was accepted, I had no idea what I was really doing--all I knew was that I needed to find a lender. I called around to a few different lenders. Some were friendly, some were quick to respond, and some were helpful. Llewellyn was the only one who was all three--quickly scheduling a call with me where he talked me through the whole process from start to finish at just the right amount of detail. He was thoughtful, understanding, and honest. Communication. Llewellyn, Fitz, and Adriana always respond promptly (usually within 5-10 minutes during business hours!) of me emailing a question. They're also extremely helpful on the phone too. Reliability. They have been open and honest about the process and when to expect various components to be done and met or surpassed those timelines. Having my back. This one's a bit more intangible, but through the whole process it's felt like the team has had my back and that they are looking out for me. With how uncertain and daunting the process can be, it's reassuring to feel like your lender is on your side and doesn't see you as just another source of money. Overall. Working with Llewellyn, Fitz, and Adriana has been a treat. I cannot recommend them enough. I would absolutely work with them again. read more

Rafael and his team helped us with the refinance of our home 2 years ago as well as the purchase of a new home this year. Both experiences were great, that's why we continue to use him :) Rafael is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and has a great team at Loan Depot that help streamline the process. If we ever had a question, we could call, text, or email him and we always got a timely response. Rafael is great because he doesn't just rely on email and text. He called us several times so that he can explain things in details and field any of our questions, that was super helpful! He also studies the markets (bond, stock, housing, etc.) so he is able to offer really great advice throughout the process and even beyond. We have Rafael on our speed dial because if we ever have a question about one of our properties, or a potential purchase, he helps us talk through it and understand all the variables. Aside from being a great lender, Rafael is a valuable resource to have. He will definitely continue to be our guy that's for sure! With that said, if you're looking for a good lending team, definitely speak with Rafael and his team, you won't regret it. Big shout out and thanks again to Rafael, Steve, and Katara for all their hard work and efforts during our refinance and home purchase! You guys are awesome and we truly appreciate it :) read more

From our first meeting, Rafael Reyes took significant time to talk my husband and I through what we were looking for, which took a lot of patience because at the time we weren't fully sure of what we were looking for. Once we found the house we wanted to purchase and went back to him a few months later, it was as though no time had passed. He was focused, fast, and got us a great rate. Our attorney commented on his speed on more than one occasion. Highly recommended. read more
