They tried to push a loan through that I don't qualify for and that would have led me to foreclosure on my home. They refused to disclose who the lender was. They told me to fabricate documents to get the loan through. They promised that this loan would close in 15 days and that I was approved but continued to request documents that I informed them, I did not have. They also started requesting upfront payments from me, without much explanation as to why, other then it was to pay for documents. They prayed on the fact that I was in urgent need of a cash out refinance loan to complete a buyout of the joint owner on my home title to satisfy a court order. I paid $850.00 for an appraisal that they also refused to disclose to me and claimed that my home was worth $100k less than it is. I requested a formal withdrawal of my application with documentation that it was withdrawn, as it was not an appropriate loan program for me and I was not comfortable moving forward. Their response was a denial email, still without disclosure of the lender. They requested that I email photos of my SSI card as well.. they don't use a secure portal. Everything is via email. They have multiple non verified phone numbers and no way to contact the actual company. DON'T USE THEM.

The online application was straightforward, and they kept me informed at every step. The personalized attention I received made a significant difference, and I highly recommend loanguys.com for anyone seeking a reliable mortgage process. Also, the head of the loan processing department Danny answered all of my questions and ultimately got my loan pushed through after some initial difficulty getting approved. Decent people and promises kept. I'll definitely be working with them again.

Neil walked us through every step of the process and was incredibly responsive. As first-time homebuyers, there were lots of things we didn't understand and Neil took the time to explain things clearly. We felt confident we were getting the best rates, and had the best team working hard for us. For reference - it took us FOUR days to get our loan "cleared to close" from the day our offer was accepted. We had a 14-day escrow period, and our loan was ready to close well in advance. That was an incredible feat by the Community First Mortgage team, and took a ton of pressure off of us with such an aggressive escrow timeline. Lastly, Neil also recommended our real estate agent, who was another incredible addition to our team. The folks at Community First Mortgage have a five star rating for a reason, we could not have been happier with the service we received and look forward to working with them next time we are in need of mortgage brokerage services.

There were many times we felt like we were asking "silly" questions because of all the mortgage jargon, but her team always took the time to explain everything clearly and made the process feel simple. Beyond their great communication, Julie guided us through a fast 21-day escrow that successfully closed--something we truly appreciated. This team doesn't mess around; they genuinely work in your best interest and go above and beyond to get the best outcome. Even after closing on our home, Julie continues to be just as responsive and helpful, answering our questions and proactively guiding us as we start thinking about refinancing. The Aragon Lending Team is always three steps ahead. It was such a pleasure working with this team during one of the biggest milestones of our lives. Thank you all so much!

Unfortunately, a recent interaction at the Woodland Hills branch was deeply disappointing. In December, my husband visited the branch to deposit the second of two large checks of very similar amounts. After looking up our account, an attendant took the check away to consult with a manager (initials G.B.) without providing any explanation. When the manager came over, he did not introduce himself or explain the situation. Instead, he abruptly asked, "What's up with these checks?" His tone was condescending and inappropriate. The interaction was upsetting enough that my husband later chose to address it directly with G.B., giving him the opportunity to apologize. G.B. claimed he did not recall saying this and stated that they use "certain standard verbiage." He offered an apology only in the form of being sorry that my husband felt offended, without taking responsibility for his conduct. We strongly disagree that "what's up with these checks" is acceptable or standard language to use with customers. At a minimum, the manager should have introduced himself, explained the concern, and allowed my husband the opportunity to respond. A few days later, my husband contacted Member Services to report the incident. The representative agreed that the treatment was unacceptable. However, it has now been two months, and we have received no follow-up from the bank. We expected, at the very least, a letter of apology and some indication that the issue had been addressed. This experience has significantly diminished our confidence in the level of professionalism and customer care at this branch and with Logix.

During one of the hardest moments I've faced, they supported me with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. Their positive energy and the way they treat every client who walks through the door is something truly special. It goes far beyond regular customer service -- it comes from the heart. Because of them, this bank has become more than just a place I go for financial needs. It has become a family to me. I appreciate everything they do, and I am deeply grateful for the care and respect they show every single day.
