I bought several fur coats from Bergama in 2009 - here's what I can say about the quality of the…read moreproducts 6 years later: The coats have come apart at the seams, particularly around the arms (and yes, they were stored over the summer in a fur vault). The leather in the coats became stiff and the furrier I use at home told me there was nothing that could be done to make them more supple. The fur is not lustrous, even after being cleaned and glazed. (I have a rather large collection of furs - you are far better off buying an estate fur out of Canada or New York than buying a new one from these guys). These coats are good for what they are, but don't expect to be getting a five star coat at half price. You're getting a 2 star coat at a 2 star price.

However, I would quibble that there is a difference between "pre-owned" and "vintage" and this coat appears to be vintage- it looks and feels over 25 years old. Although it is in great shape and is a beautiful coat, I was expecting something more recent. The pelts are a little stiff.

Last time I was there the staff introduced me to a brand of leather bracelets with cute little sayings and I've been waiting to gift one to a special someone. The owner, Nicole, and her staff were very helpful finding the perfect friendship quote to give my dear friend. I also found an adorable little dress and boot socks (we used to call them leg warmers ). Besides the great staff, warm atmosphere, unique and trendy items the price point is very reasonable for those not looking to break the bank. It is bright, open, and beautifully organized. I've never been inside of a beauty supply store that has shopping carts. The isles are wide, fully stocked with some many different products. They sell hair, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume, and more. They have a station set up so that you can try on wigs before you buy them. Their perfume counter is fully stocked with a ton of Arabic fragrances. I smelled a few that i definitely want to go back and purchase. Their prices are comparable to other places, but seem to be slightly cheaper than some of the other beauty supplies I've been to. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.
