The cone is my favorite part and I love sharing the experience with my gluten eating companions. In addition to the cone, it was probably some of the best vegan gelato I've ever had. Wider selection of vegan flavors then most spots offer. I had the hazelnut and pistachio, both were absolutely delicious. The employees were very kind and friendly. We were told that this shop was the original that created the famous limoncello that Capri is known for today, and the flavors of their limoncello were unreal! Fresh juices, perfectly balanced with sugar and finely crushed ice made for a true refreshing drink. We also tried some of their sorbets, and selected the Lemon and Watermelon from their vast selection. Again, the quality here is unmatched by anywhere else we've tried in our lives. We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming roadside stand off the beaten path. The workers here are hard-working and friendly. They spoke some English, which made it easier for us to order. For some reason, our server got us bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Maybe because we spoke English, hence she thought "American". Well surprise, surprise. I actually enjoyed the Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) pizza with the dipping sauce made common allover the US of A. FYI, bread service isn't free in Italy. A great experience.
