The nurses especially are amazing. When my wife explained to one of them, I use a different name and pronouns due to being transgender she made a real effort to remember on later visits and honor them. Even two new patient "walk-ins" while I was there. I attribute some of this to their newest doc, Andrew Rosner. I heard his name mentioned on at least three of the calls as office staff noted his name, practice expertise and that he had just joined a few weeks prior. The office is clean, accommodating and easy to find. More importantly, the staff are very welcoming and speak to you like you are an actual person and not someone there to interrupt their day; that's not always the case at some medical practices. If you're looking for a good doctor, ask for Dr. Rosner. If you want a doctor's office that will make you feel welcome and has its act together, TriValley Primary Care in Lansdale is the place to go. If you name it, he's probably examined me for it or treated it. Now that technology has evolved (aka Symlin), he's referred me to another endo in this area, but prior to that, he was always up on the latest type 1 diabetes treatments, asking me if I wanted a pump again (I still don't... those things gave me the worst skin infections ever) and making sure I had access to the supplies I needed. He's a very kind, sympathetic doctor. There should be more like him.

I alerted Dr. Gill that IBX required a prior authorization for a prescribed medication. Despite clear communication, no request was ever submitted. When I called IBX directly, they confirmed there was no record of any prior authorization from the provider. Dr. Gill's and her staff staff told me to "wait for the insurance company," which was inaccurate -- the process must be initiated by the provider. This demonstrated that both the doctor and her office either did not understand or disregarded the prior authorization process. If you are healthy, they will gladly take your office visit fees; but if you need real coordination of care or help navigating insurance, do not expect follow-through. Poor communication and lack of responsibility made this a frustrating experience.

I was sent half way across the earth to thier other office in Lansdale. I live five minutes from them. I can remember a time when i did not feel well and I was seen the day I called. Small issues started a couple of years ago when visits started taking more than an hour. Bigger issues now. Called several times and was on hold for more than an hour before being disconnected. Now I am on a drug which is on back-order. The pharmacy faxed them 3 times and has not received a response. Also they wanted me to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and would not renew my blood pressure medication until I saw them. After an hour of arguing, they gave me an appointment the next day, and told me how lucky I was that they were "accommodating me". After seeing the reviews here, I realize at least I am not alone.
