Lloyd's Guitars did an excellent job on short notice with the guitar setup on my Strat Copy. Highly recommended!

Don't walk--RUN from this shop if you value your instrument!…read more I took a custom guitar a friend of mine made for me in the mid-90s to Luthier's Workshop in Green Bay, WI for a refret with stainless steel frets. I was charged about $500 for the work, which is a bit higher than industry standard, but the shop was local and claimed it was certified to do warranty work on Taylor Guitars, so I trusted them with my ONLY electric guitar. Not only was the fret job botched (gritty frets throughout, with visible filing chatter on the crowns), but their ham-fisted luthier filed grooves/gouges into the neck binding near EVERY SINGLE FRET. When I contacted the owner via email, he said he was "sorry" I was "disappointed" with the service. He then stated that his luthier had claimed that the gouges were "already there." I provided him with photographic evidence to the contrary. He offered to fix the issues, but at this point I would not trust his shop to restring a $6 plastic Hello Kitty ukulele, let alone do any work of substance on my custom guitar. No, I will have to drop another $120 to have another local luthier repair the damage done to my instrument. RUN AWAY.

My acoustic guitar is a Taylor, and they are a Taylor dealer, so I feel a bit more comfortable with the repairs. They are willing to try to achieve anything that you want, instance, they helped me re-route an electronics panel, and will even take extra information over the phone! Overall great!

I got the guitar center card because there was 0% finance for 48 months. so i thought. well i guess they randomly can change the months at purchase if they feel like it. After realising my payments were doing nothing to my total i called in to find out i only had 6 months of 0 percent interest and that it all gets charged to the card after 6 months. I would of just bought it outright if I knew they were going to be scums. Any business that aligns themselves with synchro bank is scum right along with them. if youre going to purchase from them don't use their card! Theifs! between intrest and the upcharge on the product i purcahsed i could of bought a whole new one! At no point in time was i told this at purchase.

The store manager Corey helped me out with an issue where a Markbass bass cabinet that I ordered was unbeknownst to them no longer available. It would have been nice if Markbass gave them a heads up on that!! After that, I decided to ditch the Markbass rig and get an Aguilar bass rig. Corey went out of his way to get me set up with the new bass rig just in time before a big gig. Both of my basses are from Guitar Center as well. Thanks again for the great service and awesome gear!
