I took a class here on beginner metalsmithing. The instructor spent the first 1/2 hour kind of…read moreshowing us the equipment and then told us to design a box on paper and card stock for the next 3 hours. The rest of the time he talked about the art he has made and then just sat around and chatted with students. There was no teaching happening at all. If you do take a class here, please call them first to get a full understanding of what the class entails, along with their refund policy. I have taken classes like this before and there has always been a curriculum of sorts and a structured, guided class to ensure each student would have the best opportunity to learn the skills described in the syllabus. I was very dissatisfied and they would not honor even a partial refund. I only attended one class (out of a 6-class course), as I didn't want to continue to waste my time and their resources. And I had a bad feeling each class would be lots of wasted time with no teaching or guidance. I had signed up for another class after that one, but decided to cancel that one immediately. Extremely disappointed. Will never go back again.

Sorry but I was too busy having fun last night to take photos!

Wine or beer were offered right away - always nice. Our stations were ready for us to start... wood, tools, materials, paints. A little how-to to get started and before each new step. We were at a table with newbies and frequent flyers who were very helpful with my many questions. There were 4-5 staff always available for questions and suggestions. The tables were a little tight but doable. Most projects were $65, we had a coupon code so that helped get me in the door. This is usually not my thing but I had a good time and will be back. Well with all the glitter how could I resist???

This is such a neat spot in Green Bay. The first room you walk into is just filled with art from…read morelocal artists and they're always switching the art based on a theme or specific exhibit. The last time I was here for Gallery Nite and my favorite art was a painting over newspapers. If you looked closely at the people's skin you can see the printing from the newspaper. The second room is more of an event space. For Gallery Nite, they had vendor tables, some food, and music. I went here for a Cork and Canvas event that was in this room and there had to be around 50 people at that event. It's a great space to take a class or event have your own smaller event. More people from Green Bay need to check this place out!

Rummeles Jewelry and "Mr. Rolex" delivered truly best-in-class customer service…read more Growing up in this blue-collar town, I never imagined I would one day own a Rolex. When the time finally came and I was ready to make that investment, there was no question where I was going -- straight to David, the absolute godfather of sourcing unique and hard-to-find models. He exceeded every expectation. From the first conversation to the final handshake, the experience was personal, professional, and memorable. David not only secured my Rolex Sky-Dweller masterpiece, but he also took the time to walk me through every feature with care and precision. The attention to detail and genuine excitement for his clients is unmatched. And yes -- celebrating the moment with a well-earned beer afterward made it even more special. I couldn't be more proud or grateful for the experience. If you're considering a fine timepiece and want white-glove treatment with hometown integrity, Rummeles is the only place to go. Highly recommend.

They also do a fabulous job with custom framing. If they don't have what you want on hand - they'll order it! And they will keep a "wish list" for you to help loved ones shop for you for your birthday or other holiday. I recently took 2 pieces I had finished to Michael's for stretching and framing. Michael's butchered them, and when I pointed it out to them, they didn't even understand what they had done wrong (their only comment was that the linen fabric was "really stretchy" *facepalm*). So I took both pieces to The Stitching Bee and they were happy to salvage both pieces for me! They also have great notions and cards and small gift items. This shop is a great little gem in northwest Green Bay.
