Cute, convenient spot for a quick brunch or coffee. Located within a 20-min walk from either Grand Place and Quartier Royal, Lloyd is perfectly placed for a quick bite or caffeine fix between tourist attractions. It definitely has a strong contingent of tourists and is undeniably catered toward visitors vs. locals, but it gets the job done. The coffee is tasty and rich -- my latte was delightful -- and they have a great spread of pastries and more substantial toasts or brunch plates. I got their cinnamon roll, which was nice and fluffy, with a very generous helping of frosting. It was too sweet for me (clearly designed for more American taste buds), and I do think it would've been better if they warmed it up, but it was still tasty. My friend got a more substantial toast with egg, avocado, and smoked salmon. It also felt like quite a decadent breakfast, but it was a huge portion and kept (and bits of it kept me) full for quite a while. All in all, not a must try but definitely convenient and a good, reliable option. read more
