At the front of the shop it has varous foods you can buy: groceries, sweets, a small frozen food bit, tinned food, doughnuts, yougurts and lots more. I normally walk to the post office each week and buy my magazines and by the till they have small bags of penny sweets for 50p which I normally buy for my girls. Near the post office section there is an atm machine and a variety of stationary, birthday cards and a small selection of toys. The staff are all really friendly and often stop to chat to me. In the window of the shop they often have small notices from people that are selling things or have small jobs that they need doing so I always find mysef reading these.

Nice surprise - before Christmas they open at 7.00 so I was over the threshold on the dot! The office has been smartened up since my last visit (in September) and the young lady behind the counter was cheerful, polite and happy to help me. At 7.00 am that's worth brownie points in my book. So a professional service in a clean smart environment. Yes, it can get crowded but the counter staff generally do their best under some pressure, especially at this time of year. I hope it continues to be as neat and tidy as it is now, as it's definitely more pleasant to wait for your letters/parcels etc.and I imagine for the staff too.

We cannot let this happen, we must support our local establishments. Without the postal system, how would housewives have affairs? How would charities give you free pens? It is on a main bus route and also has a small car park around the back of the store. The post office staff can be less than enthusiastic, and sometimes they make you feel as though you've disturbed their peaceful day by daring to use the post office. She has out of date stock and charges what she wants that's why she doesn't advertise prices. She's ruining the post office brand and needs a change of hands. As she is the only shop in the village she is allowed to monopolise this. If another shop pops up people will definitely go elsewhere. Post office need to send someone undercover to check her. They'll see what I'm saying is true. The majority of the village feels this way. Looks to me as she gave herself 5 stars or one of her friends. Horrible women who shouldn't be running a shop.
