This is a small post office located on chemical road in Morriston. The post office sells the usual…read morestamps , envelopes , you can send parcels , pay bills. They also have a very good selection of greetings cards , gifts and toys. Also there is a christmas catalogue where you order things , pay weekly and then near christmas once you have paid for your items you will recieve them . This is very good if you are short of money as it means you can budget for christmas over a few months instead of over a short period of time. The staff are always very friendly and love to have a chat with their customers and although the post office is small I have no problem taking the buggy inside.

Lovely for walks and close to the village and the railway station. There is a car park very near to the beach. In the village there are toilets, pubs, cafes and few shops. Great for walking but I don't know what the quality of the water is like for swimming. Not far from Kidwelly on one side and Carmarthen on the other.

Located in the Killay Square its one of the post offices that certainly does make you feel like you…read morehave received the personal touch. Sparsely decorated inside with little extras the staff are really friendly and helpful and always give you a service with a smile. As you would expect with a local post office the branch rarely gets busy and often you can walk up to the counter and get immediately served a huge plus point. Car Parking is available at the rear of the post office but I have had trouble finding a space to park. If you are in the area and need to post a letter or a parcel don't bother going to the city centre but give this local post office your custom it would be a shame to see it go.
This is my last post office review, I promise! I just like them. I never really realised this…read moreobsession before now (I'm currently on post office review number 25). This one is particularly friendly and quaint. This is a classic little post office that sells precisely everything that you want it to. By no means as busy as the post office in the centre of town, this is a great one to pop into if you want to avoid the queues and spend your afternoon doing something productive instead. There is something British and charming about any post office, I think. In this age we live in swiftly moving towards a paperless society, then maybe one day these premises will, all around the country, become obsolete. Perhaps they'll just be empty brick shells that sell stamps to collectors and pencil sharpeners (although only artists would buy them). Balls of fluff will gather in the corners. But no! We cannot let this happen, we must support our local establishments. Without the postal system, how would housewives have affairs? How would charities give you free pens? We would all have boarded up little slots in our front doors. Support! Support! Support!!
This is a very decent convenience store and sub-post office located close to the Brynowen caravan…read moresite in Borth. It offers a much wider range of goods at much more competetive prices than the on-site shop. When we stayed at Brynowen we found that from our caravan at least Nisa wasn't significantly further to walk to than the camp shop so going there was a no-brainer really. The shop is very nicely presented, offers some decent promotions and the staff were all polite and friendly. There a cash machine outside although there is a charge for withdrawals so better to get cashback in the shop. Having said that you need more than a fiver to pay by card.
