I FINALLY FOUND MY MECHANIC! I am really into cars. I grew up in a family business centered around auto body and mechanical repair. I'm very aware of what's wrong with any car, what needs to be done, and how much it should cost. I've just come to accept being ripped off a little bit. I randomly found this shop because of an old corvette that the owner was selling. I immediately liked the guy. The first time i gave Jorge a car to diagnose, he told me exactly what's wrong with it, why it's not the more expensive problem, and he charged me slightly less than I expected. Since then, he's fixed a few cars for me, and helped me add 115 horsepower to my V8 daily driver. All his mechanics are nice, their work is clean, done quickly and well worth it. I highly recommend this shop for repair, tires or any other service you could need. You will definitely not be disappointed. read more

I was very pleased with the work George performed on my daughters Escape. He did not talk down to her as most mechanics do to women. He gave her a fair price and even offered a payment plan. Thank you George, your one of a kind. read more

Well, where do I start. It is hard to find a good honest mechanic, that is why I stated tinkering on my car myself. I took on a timing belt repair which was beyond my skill set. It could have actually ended in disaster. But I looked on the Internet and found Llama Auto Repair, not only did Jorge answer the phone every time I called he listened to my entire situation. The car was towed there and within two days Jorge and his crew got my car back up and running good. Instead of gouging me unnecessary parts and extended labor I was treated right. Let's face it nothing is cheap these days and we are looking for our best value, look no further, Jorge's work order had the listing of OEM parts and the work that was performed. Just wanted to give a positive shout out to Llama! read more

I am very lucky to find Jorge for fixing my Toyota Sienna yesterday. Our family was returning to Bay area from LA from a vacation, my van had break issues and Jorge was very professional and gave the best advice for fixing my front and back break pads. He was very friendly, honest and gave a good value for the service he provided. He made it as priority and fixed it soon so we can drive back home to Bay area safely. Not only he fixed the van, he gave a ride to McDonalds for our family in his personal truck so me and my kids can relax and have food during that time (As it was raining very bad). Giving a 5 star is very less, he deserves a 10 star. His team was very helpful to accommodate my service request asap. Appreciate a lot for your help Jorge. read more

I was buying a used car from a private seller and I wanted to do a due diligence to make sure the car was in good condition. From initial phone call to checking everything thoroughly, Jorge was very kind and pleasant. He drove the car to intimately check what was wrong and gave me a run down of what needs fixing. It allowed me to leverage his analysis to get an even better deal from seller. His parting words were God planned this all for you. And told me the range I should be paying. Feel like today was a divine appointment. I was literally driving aimlessly around San Pedro debating what I should do but saw his store. God bless my friend. read more

My brother recommended this shop and I can see why. Much like other yelp reviews say. He is an honest guy! I think it's difficult to find a shop where you feel comfortable taking the mechanics word on things. I have to admit from the moment I walked in to the moment I left it was a great experience. He is a really honest and professional guy that doesn't try to add extra jobs to make an extra buck. I came in, without and appointment, thinking I needed to switch my front and rear break pads. He was in the middle of lunch and was kind enough to step away for a minute to help me. It turned out it was just my front break pads that needed to be replaced. He was honest enough to suggest I hold off on switching the back. I will definitely be coming back with any future car trouble. Highly recommend this shop especially if you are looking for a mechanic you can trust! read more

Jorge and his team were so helpful to me on the day i needed it the most. While their general services are for tune ups, standard auto repairs, computer diagnostics, brake services, air conditioning, and. Oil changes--my situation was handled so quickly and with so much kindness from the men working there. I experienced a flat tire near the area and they helped me change my spare tire alongside helping me understand how far i can get back from there. Thank you so much for helping me out during a really sudden issue! read more

I'm so glad I found this place. I left work on Friday night and my car wouldn't start. Great. I woke up Saturday morning and checked out Next Door app for recommendations. There were several but I really liked what people had to say about Jorge and I saw he was only a mile from my house too. I had my car towed to his shop at around 11. I was really hoping he could fix it that day because I had to work again on Sunday but his shop closed at 3....so fingers crossed. Jorge gave me a ride home and I waited to hear from him. He called at 2:30 with not so great news. He needed more time to diagnose the problem. He thought it was a bad starter but there were other issues with the diagnostic test. Something about the throttle body p 2111. Stuff I don't understand at all, lol. I was bummed but what are you gonna do? Imagine my surprise when Jorge called me at 6 to tell me my car was ready! Turns out the parts dealer brought the wrong starter and he stayed 3 hours past his closing time to finish my car! Who does that? He cleaned and replaced the terminal connector thingies on my battery too because they were corroded. No charge. What?? Jorge is the kind of guy you don't see very often....he's honest, humble, and a great mechanic. Thank you Jorge! read more

This is the only upstanding, truly honorable, Christian man I have ever fully trusted to do impeccable work on my car when I desperately needed it! Before Jorge, I, like most women, have had the regular experience of being treated at auto repair shops as if we are foolish and suckers for a hiked up price or unnecessary repairs. NOT WITH JORGE! My brakes were practically gone due to my own life challenges as a low wage, foster care advocate getting in the way of proper upkeep. Jorge fixed my car with perfect ease, grace, a smile and a price I could afford as a low wage child care worker. Jorge is truly a Godsend. He saved me from a potentially dangerous event on the highway. He was transparent, fully trustworthy and beyond generous with his care and support. Jorge lives his Christian faith & I not only recommend him to any and all friends in the Los Angeles area for auto repair, he became a life long friend and brother in Christ. This is the world we all want to live in and share, trustworthy and honorable people who work hard, care and go above and beyond. Jorge will bless your life with his auto repair talent! Please bless him back for me and those he helps! Thank you, Jorge! You're the kind of man who makes this world seem a little brighter, a little more safe, trustworthy, kind and hopeful. Isn't that the ultimate goal of life? I'm grateful I found you! Now to drive across a few states to have you do my auto work! read more

Jorge is one of a kind. He's the kind of mechanic you wish you've always had. He's the exact opposite of the stereotypical mechanic and I assure you he is everything you would hope and want in a mechanic. He is honest, he is thorough, he is fair. He will explain everything that is wrong and he will make recommendations that are best for you. He doesn't try to up charge or offer anything that's not necessary. He guarantees his work and if problems arise he is willing to fix them. He's an honest man, and I assure you if there are ever negative reviews there is more to the story than what is written. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone I know. He's the type of person you want to give business to. Give him a visit and you will be glad you did! read more
