I am so glad I took my car to A&E. I took my Acura in for an oil change. I requested a very specific lubricant. Eduardo told me he could order it and it would be in the next day. I got a text to verify a time to get the oil change done. I took it in at the appointed time and it was ready within the time he quoted and the charges were better than any of the "quick" service shops. I have found my go to service shop! read more

I read their great reviews and they are accurate. I have used some good mechanics but there is simply no comparison to the concern, knowledge, and clear explanation of the "diagnosis." The price I was quoted to fix an oil leak on my vintage Toyota was very fair. read more

Andrew and Edgar and the whole team at A&E have done great work on multiple cars for me. I've gone back more times I've lost out. They treat me like family and work with my budget sometimes during repairs in stages I like that they don't try to upsell me a bunch of extra stuff I don't need. The air conditioning in our cars is icy cold charged reasonable price for fixing broken air conditioning leak. They also are now offering car washing service when you get your car serviced very nice after oil change this new family business deserves your attention and great deals on tires. They even price matched a competitor, great service and prices and treating me like family. Love supporting this local San Pedro establishment read more

I was referred here from my tire spot to get help with my AC. I met a very charming man at the front office, Eduardo. He was so helpful and kind. Such a nice man! He filled me in on the history of the location and we had a fun chat about San Pedro, family, California, surgeries, and other random tidbits. The shop used to be under different ownership that only focused on European cars (if memory serves) but now is under new ownership, for a couple years now. I saw the owner too but didn't get to speak much with him, but he seemed kind as I saw him helping what looked like a regular customer. They took great care of my car and will definitely earn my business again - all thanks to Eduardo. Excellent customer service, great vibe to the shop overall, and they didn't try to upsell me at all. It's also easy to get to and find. Maybe now I won't put off car service so much! I'm actually looking forward to going back. read more

A&E is the only place we will take our cars! Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love my car. Edgar goes above and beyond for his customers and he is very honest and reasonable. He took on a big job with my car which was a 2 month job and he kept us posted with updates and we were so happy with the results when we got our car back. We finally found a mechanic who we trust and isn't out to rip us off!!! read more

I am absolutely thrilled to have discovered A&E Autoservice! When I walked in, I needed help with the engine light on my 2010 Audi A5. Edgar, one of the incredibly courteous and knowledgeable mechanics, quickly pointed out that my tires were expired that I purchased over a year ago and was well over six years old and sold as new something I had no idea about! They had these fine cracks that were concerning, so I decided to buy new tires and take care of a few necessary repairs, all within my budget. The customer service was outstanding, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. I've truly found my neighborhood mechanic! I wholeheartedly and confidently recommend A&E Autoservice to any Audi enthusiasts or other car makes out there. Make sure to ask for Edgar! read more

Great Service very professional.I have used them several times for 3 different vehicles , and I highly recommend this shop!!

I recently moved to this area and needed a new auto service to take care of my old 1993 van. A&E is near my home less than a mile away and I read all their wonderful reviews before making an appointment! I am now adding to them and sharing the positive experience and customer service that I received. I dealt mostly with Edgar. He was kind, friendly and helpful. He would always greet me with a nice firm handshake! I had to eventually return a second time once there was a part received for my van. I appreciated their integrity and consistency in doing what they say they would do even after weeks before my return. They are extremely reasonable and fair for the work they do. One can tell their priority is Customer Service, passion for what they do and doing a great job, and not just making money... I would fully recommend them to anybody! Thank you, again, Edgar for all your help! See you soon when the other parts for my old van come in! Sincerely, Linney read more

A&E is the only mechanic I go to when my cars have problems. They are down to earth people that are not charging any extra fees or upping any costs. They are an honest business doing an honest job. It's sad that it is so hard to find a place that you can say that about these days. But after paying fortunes through many years and not getting my cars fixed with confidence and breaking down because poor diagnoses..... I finally found a place that is friendly, honest, affordable, reliable, and treats men and women the same, and this place actually makes me confident that my car is fixed when I drive off the lot and it does not break the bank. Bravo A & E! I am so glad I found you ( a true diamond in the rough) Thank you for being you. read more

Great service, helpful guys. Trustworthy. Serviced my hybrid and gas cars. The only place to service your car

I had work done here and it was a very easy process. As a woman not knowing much about automotive terminology they explained things to me in a respectful and considerate manner. I didn't feel intimidated, it is a welcoming place and the prices are fair. I was able to confirm with someone I know in the industry that the prices are good. The work was done in the time they said it would be (honor of their word) and they didn't try to sell me up. Edgar, is the person I delt with and he has a good manner in the way he explains things to someone, like me, who asks a lot of questions. I had my brakes, rotars and serpintine belt replaced. For quality, cost, and time frame are all a thumbs up! Thank you Edgar! read more
