Purchased engineered Hickory. It was a month late. There was no communication and I found out by calling them. They stated it was over purchased, yet never contacted me. After several phone calls promises not kept, I had to continue calling them after they were to contact me. They stated that they can do a search for the flooring and found some out of state. Again after several not returned calls I received a date for delivery. I informed them I wanted a discount and free delivery. They contacted the general manager and got me 1/2 off delivery. I lost much more money than this. I wasn't able to get my flooring in time for the contractor, so every contractor has to shift their schedules. The person at the store said to me, we waved the shipping cost of $600 for the out of state product. I informed him that they were responsible for that, having screwed up. Kind of lame for him to even state that. We called corporate who refused to compensate, asking for 10% off and free delivery. The company has no communication. The company tries to put it on the purchaser when they make a mistake. All the way to corporate is most unhelpful. You would take a business that almost went under like they did would treat their customers better. I've learned and will go elsewhere in the future. read more

I also had a problem with my receipt ( my fault) when I made my purchase last month and both gentlemen couldn't be so helpful on helping me straighten it out!! I have been considering installing hardwood flooring in my bedrooms to remove some older carpet. The other parts of my house was done in Brazilian Cherry. This is usually pretty pricey, but LL had a sale on it and a rebate. They gave me a very competitive quote and the installation occurred this week. Looks amazing. Great product and installation! When dealing with a kitchen remodel, you want to get all your ducks in a row. That means planning in advance and working with your General Contractor as well as your suppliers (if you are like me and want to control costs by buying your materials). When it came to flooring, it made sense to go to Lumber Liquidators and check out their selections. I ended up going with their top seller which is the Bellawood Select Red Oak. The Nashua team was extremely polite and helpful. I was able to pay in person and have my contractor pick up the materials. Since they were out of the underlayment needed, they provided the upgraded material at no extra charge. To be honest, I am not sure I can tell the difference but to not make me wait for what was ordered to come in and delay the process was greatly appreciated. I had a minor issue thanks to my contractor causing some unwanted dings so the Nashua team helped me secure the extra material I needed quickly and we are on our way to the completion of the project. My mother spent $2000 on laminate flooring from here recently. After installing ~140 square feet of it, we found that there was mold growing on all of it. Hesitant to open the remaining ~1800 square feet, my mother went back to this Lumber Liquidators location in Nashua, NH looking just for an exchange. She explained to the manager and employees there that she was concerned about the mold and just wanted an exchange for non-moldy wood. The manager adamantly and condescendingly explained that it was just dust, and refused an exchange. My mom was incredibly embarrassed by their ignorance and we decided it was best to run a mold test to rebuke their claims. While our mold test was being processed, I assisted my mom and contacted corporate. I was contacted by a customer service agent who sent us a General Disclosure Form to fill out. We did so along with attaching numerous pictures highlighting the molded wood. Our hope for a easy resolution was destroyed however when the customer service agent just called back and reiterated what the manager at the store said. This was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time for us. Finally, the test results finished and proved that it was indeed mold. My mom has had her insurance agent try to call and provide these pictures for them only to receive delayed responses from them claiming that they can't receive the pictures. I've helped my mom resend these pictures in one final hope that we can come to a resolution (we just want non-molded wood here). If not, we'll have to seek legal action as we find this product to be a health hazard and completely defective. If this sounds like a giant pain in the rear to you, it's because it is. Needed new flooring for my house and figured to try this place out. Immediately after walking through the door, the employee working told me I need a mask on. Uhh, this was in New Hampshire....no state mask mandate. This was in the United States.....no federal mask mandate. I appreciate him being so quick to show his virtue signaling because I didn't waste any time there so I could walk right out and take my business elsewhere. I expect that this business would treat its customers the same way it would treat a prospective employee. With that in mind, don't be surprised if they no-show on an appt you've made with them. Also, most of their hardwood is 2nd-run cheap crap that breaks up and creates more waste. You get what you pay for, and sometimes you get what you DON'T pay for. It was briefly disappointing, but overall I couldn't be happier to not be associated with this poorly run, inconsiderate business. read more

I'm about 6 weeks into my new floors, and to this point its been a fantastic experience with Lumber Liquidators, specifically the store manager Joe (Mike?), and Joy(?). I had read some less-than-stellar things about LL, but I shopped around and I felt like the deal for what I got (Bellawood pre-finished Iron Wood Maple 3 1/4") was worth the risk. And it also seemed like installation issues were what caused a lot of the negative reviews. Everyone I worked with at the store was really pleasant to work with. Joe was knowledgable, but not pushy. They have some price protections I really appreciated. I ran out of wood and I was able to get more from them really quickly, and it matched the first batch. I had my own person install it, so I can't speak to LL's installers. I covered 1000 sq feet, so I can certainly find imperfections. My installer left a small chip which he patched fairly well, but that's his issue. I can find some very small differences in the height of the wood in some places, but I'm not sure if that's wood quality or an installation issue. There is one spot that looks like some kind of stress line, so I'll keep an eye on it. But I'd say its 99.9% perfect, and it totally transforms the first floor of the house. I've moved furniture on it and dropped some heavy things. So far so good. Overall, if it holds up then I'd say the value I got feels great. I had some doubts going into it. And I can see how wood floors have a lot of variables going into them, so I'm not surprised some folks had poor experiences. But I had a really great one and would definitely go back to this store. read more

LL Flooring - Nashua - Pre-finished Iron Wood Maple 3 1/4 (top) replaced the old rug (bottom) - Flooring Near Me - Nashua, New Hampshire

My husband and I had the floors in two rooms done with pre-finished flooring. It's gorgeous! The den was done in walnut and the kitchen was done in a lovely oak trying to match older existing flooring. The kitchen was done by the original owner, a "do it yourselfer" that put tiles over the existing linoleum floor (a no no). It took a bit of effort on the installer part but they removed both floors and put the new oak floor in. The rooms look amazing. It took two and a half days due to the kitchen floor removal. The gentlemen installing the floors were very cautious of our home, covering furniture and putting paper over walking areas. We were very happy with the entire experience. The pre-finished flooring is solid wood and comes in a number of woods and colors. We are looking into the less expensive laminate for the downstairs of our split entry. Time to get rid of the 1960's orange and gold carpet. :-) read more

Be careful with ordering trim pieces. They don't tell you ahead of time but they are not returnable. Since they ship them to you they consider them special order and therefore are not refundable. Even if unopened / unused. It would be nice to know that ahead of time. Loss of a few hundred dollars for no reason... read more

This entire process was a nightmare, first I ordered solid bamboo flooring online and a measurement online. Since I already had an idea of how much flooring I needed. When I called store to inquire about order, I told them what I ordered and before looking up my order, I was told I was wrong and that they didn't care solid bamboo, apparently this guy had no idea what products they sell, because guess what I ordered solid bamboo. I was then contacted and given the name of the installation company, BM Flooring. I checked reviews and read that the communication was horrible and everything was done through text message and pictures. I brought this up to the Store Manager and an LL Flooring installation rep. I was assured thai was only 1 review and to look at the others. The measurement was completed and there were a bunch of issues, like $800 for glue for a floor, 5" bamboo, that didn't need to be glued. An upcharge on my credit card for the next level up of underlayment, without my consent, because "it was on sale and only an extra $70" according to the Nashua Store Manager. I was told I had to move my air duct for force hot air heat, in order to use flush mount grates and that they needed to be at least 12" from wall. Take out a tape measure and measure that for yourself, I've never seen a vent that far away from a wall. After multiple phone calls, in which I was told, by a guy that never came to my house, that I could not use flush mount floor grates because my vents "are in the wall," again this guy never came to my house and apparently the guy that did measurement doesn't know what a force hot air floor vent looks like, the vents were ordered. And how were they measured?? By putting a tape measure on floor, taking a picture and sending it to BM Flooring, just like the review said. So after about a 2 months, the grates came in, stock size, not custom width of 2" like the rest of house, which was shown to the measurement guy from BM Flooring. So now floor is installed, they sub contractors of BM Flooring that did the install were amazing, I should of hired them directly off Craigslist like BM Flooring probably did. I was able to return 18 feet of threshold, that again was questioned in the beginning, since I had 3 outside doors that have there own threshold, however I was charged for 3 installs, which didn't happen and get this, it's up to the installer to authorize the refund for work that was not done. What are the odds of getting that $75 back. In total I was overcharged for glue, threshold and threshold installation, over $1000 and none was necessary. Do your own research, educate yourself, question this store, the measurement quote and if they use BM Flooring as the installer, either run as fast as you can or look on craigslist and hire the guys yourself, because BM Flooring is nothing but a go between. Question everything and watch your account carefully. That being said the installer, not BM Flooring, was able to make the vents work by cutting them down and the floor looks great, which has nothing to do with the customer service or lack there of that I received from the Nashua NH store or BM Flooring read more

After purchasing nearly $4,000.00 in hardwood flooring at this Nashua New Hampshire location. I was promised a (1 week ) lead time on delivery of my purchase. Now I would not have even spent my money at this flooring store, But my customer walked in and saw a floor she liked and asked me to get it. The delivery was 7 days late from the date of order above the 1 week lead time I was given. I asked the associate to call me when the order arrived ( my business is in their system ) plus I gave the contact info again upon payment in full at the time of order. They never called / not even to say there was a delay of any sort. When I went to the store on day 14 from my order date, I was told there was sufficient amount of my flooring somewhere in Massachusetts and they could get it for me for an additional $100.00 delivery fee. I got the floor, I Installed the floor, I messed up my work schedule and this was a total waste of my time and effort purchasing anything from this location. When they forgot the spline that's was needed to switch directions with the flooring I went back to pick it up. It was $5 or $6 dollars. I was told I had to put the purchase of 5 bucks on a credit card because they now don't take cash. Coved and it's problems are one thing, but forgetting about a customer once the check clears is a disrespectful way to do business. I have recently discovered that lumber liquidators has changed names due to losing a major Class action lawsuit for using vendors in China that incorporated asbestos materials in the manufacturing of its laminate flooring. If you have purchased laminate flooring in the past 5 years from lumber liquidators, there's a possibility that your laminate flooring could have traceable amounts of asbestos in it that was manufactured in China. This is the first yelp review I have ever done, but the public at large needs to be forewarned about the poor service, lack of communication after the point of sale, and lastly sourcing materials that have been deemed poisonous from communist China. I would give this store and the brand itself a "0" out of 10 on a scale of where to shop for your flooring needs. Don't be fooled by price, your paying less up front for less then A grade materials. And everything else is extra. Buy the time you add up the up charge fees You could have purchased a much better floor from a reputable flooring store at the same price. Match apples to apples when comparing price and quality. This company deals in deceit. All of a sudden this store has become digital currency only. Nashua sells me 14 Boxes of taped up bamboo from 3 different lots and some shoe molding that was so twisted up their own installer didn't want to use it. I waited 2 weeks for the install, then another week to try and find another box from the same lot so I could finish. No luck and I have 2 closets a totally different color than the rest of my floor. Then they wouldn't allow any returns after 30 days. It wasn't my choice to wait 30 days, I was trying to find the rest of the floor they sold me. The floor was as defective as the molding but even considering all the screw-ups and delays from them and their installer they still wouldn't take it back. Let me know if you want a picture of what Lumber liquidators calls "natural variation". If you are willing to pay extra for a company that stands behind their products or customer service, don't bother here. read more

We paid for 65 boxes of hardwood flooring but they sold us 56, telling us that they sold us 65. Instead of offering us good customer service and offering to give us the full quantity, they essentially told us too bad you already paid for it. I had a customer that wanted new floors in her apartment. I recommended that she shop around and too even try Lumber liquidators. They were on a budget so I thought this would work for them. They found flooring that they liked and purchased it. As I was doing the install I picked up the flooring and also the molding, trans. boards, vapor shield and padding. They were actually recommended to me by a lady whose beach house I rented, and who loved her floors. I walked in there on 5/30 and found some laminate flooring that I liked on sale for $1.99. I explained to the salesman that I needed 650 square feet but I would just take one box today and show it to my wife, if she liked it I would come back the next day and buy 10 more boxes. So...I go back in there today 5/31 and the very same laminate was *on sale* for $2.29 per square foot. This is really bad business and horrible lazy sales person for not telling me the price would rise the very next day. VERY POOR!!! I did walk out and will never go back to that dump. read more

I bought hardwood floor material from this store on the recommendation of my contractor. Material quality was extremely poor. In addition, he wouldn't take excess material back because my contractor could not finish the job within 30 days (as per policy) since my contractor was hospitalized. The manager was extremely rude, he will not consider a genuine reason for taking excess material back to the store. Avoid this store. read more
