A fun little detour on a White Mountains road trip! The drive leading up to this place was beautiful! When we finally stumbled upon LL Cote it didn't look like much but it is soo worth the stop! This store is such a variety- fishing, hunting, camping, clothes, and every kind of little knick knack! We left with geodes, unicorn pens, confetti poppers, and a slime alien in a bag, HA! It's really the only game in town, so if you're in the area and need to shop it looks like this is it. Not bad for a sporting goods store similar to LL Bean. A little pricey but since it's in the middle of nowhere it's to be expected. The woman at the food counter was unbelievable rude. I tried to order something at around 2:15 on Sunday. The sign clearly said the kitchen closed at 3:00 but she said the kitchen was closed. She got irate when I mentioned the sign. read more

If you want selection, friendly employees and everything you had no idea you ever wanted, THIS is the place for you. I live in TX. We got BIG gun/sporting stores but this place is awesome. Looking for bear traps, they got 'em. Loads for an elephant gun? Check. Cross bows, pick your type. This is a place that needs to be seen to be believed and the general store sells Molson! If you're looking for a fun road trip through beautiful country that ends up at a cool destination, drive to Errol, NH, and visit LL Cote - a VERY GOOD Sporting Goods store tucked away in a mighty small town. There's not a lot going on in Errol and LL COTE anchors the whole town. The parking lot will be loaded with snowmobiles or atvs, depending upon the season of your visit. You can buy gas, visit their convenience store, peruse their FULLY LOADED hardware store (lots of cool stuff in here) and get lost in the Sporting Goods store (it's HUGE). You'll find brand name outdoor gear for both men and women, home decor and high quality camping gear. Boots, rain gear, portable deer stands - it's all waiting for you. PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE. Upstairs you'll find a fishing/hunting department that rivals LL BEAN or CABELLAS! The hunting department has it all - long arms and handguns - from deer rifles to shotguns for duck hunting to handguns for self defense. Need ammo? LL COTE has the largest selection of any type, any caliber, that we've seen anywhere. The entire store was BUSY when we visited and the staff were friendly and prompt. LL COTE makes Errol a DESTINATION! You'd better go now, before the rest of the world finds out!! read more

I traveled over to LL Cote for some new snowmobiling gear the day before Thanksgiving. The store is over the top amazing. You can fill up your car, get a subway grinder, local products from local vendors such as Aprils Maple, 603 clothing, Johnson Woolen Mill, Darn Tough and Turtle Fur. Name brands like Carhartt, 509, Klim, Choko, FXR, Bogs, Keen, Northface, and on and on. Need a shovel, chain saw or toilet? Yep they got those too. Plus a huge floor dedicated to Hunting and Fishing. Anything outdoors and anything in between. I found their staff knowledgeable and extremely helpful. No one pesters you but are available if you need help. My kind of store. Plus getting there, either taking RT 16 or RT 26 is AMAZING. The amount of outdoor activity and beautiful scenery make taking the trip all the better. I found their prices reasonable and in line with other retailers. No tax is a plus. It is NH after all. Worth the trip in my opinion. Just Go. read more

Cute store kind of like a Cabelas or other sporting goods store. Nice toy section for the kids. Honestly the best part was that there is a Gifford's Ice Cream stand INSIDE the store. Only place in town to get ice cream but go early because they close the ice cream part at 5pm!!! read more

I work in the customer service industry and we are held to extremely high standards at my job. Needless to say I expect the same type of service when I'm the customer. I recently had purchased an item from their website and there was a miscommunication (not any fault of theirs) with the shipping information, completely my fault. Within minutes I received a PHONE CALL, not an email, not a text but a PHONE CALL saying they would do what it takes to help resolve the situation. This is unheard of in this day and age. Just bought a browning micro midas 12 ga citori from this company. I was kinda sketchy not seeing much about it on the internet, but this is by far the best customer service I have dealt with this year. I asked if they carried a specific type of gun, and the told me yes, and ALSO took pictures at all angels for me of the two they carried. They were precise with their shipping, very professional and have a nice selection. Only thing I would advise, is if you are ordering from out of state, make sure to request them to have a signature approval for delivery for your FFL. Other than that, top recommended. read more

I visited the store to trade a crossbow, Stryker Offspring model, for a new rifle. I bought the crossbow a year ago, probably fired it 10 times so it is in like new/mint condition. The MSRP was $799.00. I was completely shocked and humiliated when they offered my $175 to $200 trade in value toward the new rifle. I've been a customer since LL Cote opened the old store. Over the years I have bought, sold, and traded with them dozens of times. They don't do anything small scale. Their inventory in all departments is extensive, and their customer service people are very knowledgeable, if not expert. Their gun department has thousands of items on hand. Everything from a child's first gun to the latest high-tech gear can be found in stock. When they have the time between sales, the guys don't mind answering questions and discussing features of various firearms when you are "just looking." They value their customers, and know you'll be back if you have a good experience. And they are not just about guns. Their other departments are just as complete. Archery, fishing, outdoor clothes and gear, ATVs, snow mobiles, canoes, and kayaks are in stock. They even have a touristy gift shop. And the full-mount white bull moose in the lobby never fails to impress! They are famous in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire and western Maine.
