Thomas picked up the phone, was very friendly, and answered several questions I had about jewelry appraisals. His wife entered the room and they also gave me tips on ring insurance in the future. They were both very helpful and pleasant. Although I don't currently need any real estate appraised, I will keep Olaes Smith in mind for the future!

My significant other has been nagging me about it for a month or so because I was turning my condo into rental property. The Yelp Projects function is great. I received 3 quotes fairly quickly and decided on using Correct Appraisals. Yelp app marked them as "Verified License" and also I liked the background of the owner when I checked out the website. Corbin had posted his experience online. Also liked that he had spent some time in New York Metro area for at least 8 years. Appraisal was done quickly. As far as the report goes, very detailed with sales comparison analyses and photos. Service was fast, quick, and efficient. Great communications. Very detailed and thorough report. Thanks to Yelp Projects function and Corbin at Correct Appraisals.

Have you ever purchased a service and felt totally satisfied with it to the point that the initial…read morecost is irrelevant? Well dealing with Joanna and purchasing her appraisal services was just such an experience. Recently my family needed an appraisal of two condos for an estate settlement. I checked with Yelp and found that Joanna had excellent reviews! Not only was Joanna a consummate professional she did a little hand holding and kept us appraised of the whole process from start to finish. She even delivered her appraisal before she said she would. If you are looking for someone who over delivers, is professional, personable, kind, and efficient then Joanna is your appraiser. I would not hesitate to use her again, and will definitely recommend her to all my friends and acquaintances. I would just like to personally thank Joanna on making a stressful situation smooth and pleasant.

A few years ago, I had Joanna Maloney Appraisal provide me with a property appraisal of my property…read morein Pacific Beach largely as a result of her ratings on Yelp. It was scheduled to be in early December, but it wasn't actually conducted until the later part of the month. After not hearing anything, I contacted her. She said that it would be delayed, and in late January I finally received the paperwork. IMO, it should not have taken that long; particularly with the fact that it was low season for real estate sales. More recently, I contacted her to determine if her appraisal might have had a zoning error. The appraisal had the property as a single-family property, but prior to that as well as currently, it has always been 2-4 unit property. The lot size is almost 7,000 sq feet, so I questioned her accuracy. She replied to my email without a real direct answer. When I followed it up with a more direct question, I never received a response from her. I cannot recommend this company for property appraisal because of the delays in getting the service done, and the delays in providing me with the final appraisal. I would also expect a considerate direct answer to a simple inquiry.

When I inherited jewelry from my mother, a previous appraiser was only interested in what had the highest value (I didn't know, because I hadn't had anything appraised!) and pretty much told me it would be a waste of time for him to go through it all, so nothing was appraised. Elliot took the time to educate and inform me about what makes a particular item valuable and how a value is determined, and didn't just blow off items of lower value. He had me specify what value range I was wanting details for, and whether $25 or $25,000, he would look them over with the same degree of attention without passing judgment. I would recommend him to anyone, whether just wanting to know if something is genuine, or needing something appraised in detail.
