She did such an incredible job editing the photos and her book purveyor did a gorgeous job with the book itself. I chose a gorgeous faux crocodile in glossy red finish for the cover -- almost kept it for myself! I am also one of the women featured in her boudoir montage :) Guess which one I am ;) My Mom's hairdresser loved what she saw on Melissa's site so much that she now has her booked for her own wedding! Ms. Robotti's schedule is filling up quickly!! Check out her site for details.

And after falling in love with her work, I contacted her to do a maternity shoot for my growing belly :) We booked out a few months, for when I would be between 7-8 months pregnant. My boyfriend and I had SUCH a fun time shooting with Melissa. She is an absolute sweetheart and made us both so comfortable. We never once got bored or felt awkward. She listened to what we wanted (my requests were far from demanding, we just wanted a few nice black & white prints.. and we both have tattoos so we wanted to look as tasteful as possible.. the rest was in her creative hands!) and she worked masterfully- quickly & precisely- behind that camera! When we did our ordering session, we had the hardest time picking out just a few to print.. but we finally narrowed it down to 6 favorites and we are so happy with the quality of the matted prints (I've got them all framed, they're just waiting to go up on the walls!) We have just scheduled our Baby's sessions! I'm not looking forward to that ordering session because I already know we are going to want them all haha! Whatever your photography need- boudoir, wedding, family, baby.. she does it all.. and she does it perfectly. I would recommend her to everyone.. although I still want her to be available when we need her... ;)

Through a few degrees of separation, I stumbled across her IG as it was just in it's infantry. Something about her crisp images spoke to me and reminded me of a photographer I shot with in 2018 whose work, IMO hasn't been replicated by any other photographer in the Boston area. I wanted a photographer who could easily capture feminity while still being edgy and vibrant. Her competitive advantage is surely her cool, calm, and collected demeanor, her directness matched with her confidence. She can confidently position, prop and pose you --- even if you're a beginner. I highly recommend scheduling a shoot if you're ready to be WOWED. Lastly, she UNDERPROMISED AND OVERDELIVERED WITH HER RESPONSE TIMELINE FOR EDITED PHOTOGRAPHY. Her bar is set *very* high.
