Rob returned multiple times to check on us and to bring additional equipment. He made sure that the moisture meter results were in line with the standards until he presented his invoice for payment. The first employee came, said he seems to have mold growth inside one of the walls and asked for copy of homeowner's policy and described the process for mold assessment and remediation. The technician arrived and snaked the line, removing some sediment. both told us that another tech would come the following day to camera the line to assess underlying problem and offer additional services based on what was found. Dad paid $640 for the work which included camera investigation. Mon 9.22-- no one called or came. Tues 9.23 I called and a camera tech came with a supervisor. Supervisor Joe informed me that he was not aware that a "mini cam" was needed and they do not have any since the 2 they use are our for repairs and it could be months before they are able to come back for this. I immediately messaged the water restoration specialist that informed us about the mold-- no response. i immediately called the office and after being transferred several times was sent to a manager's vm and i left message. also no response. I contacted another company, came out with a camera and found the blockage was further down the line ( roto rooter had not cleared it) and cleaned/flushed it. another $800 So basically roto rooter came in, told us about mold, how to proceed with diagnosis of problem, took Dad's money and then could not deliver the agreed upon service. My 85 yo father had eye surgery a few days ago, is visually and hearing impaired and generally weak. Sleep well roto rooter Middlesex.
