They are pretty fairly priced but it can add up quickly if you get too excited getting a bit of everything. We like to come by during berry season. We also come for pumpkin season. They have a few rows of fruits where you can shop and pick yourself. Sometimes they will also have pre selected boxes where you can't swap, just take as is. I do think it's better to pick your own fruit. We've gotten pre selected boxes before and haven't had great luck, with some fruit being old and on the verge of expiring. Good to know: they have a giant pokeball for decoration by the parking lot, which makes a good photo op for kids (and adults too).

They offer a wide selection of locally produced nuts, jams, etc., and veggies fresh from the fields. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stand had ample parking in front, and was clean and well organised. As a bonus, they offered me a rewards card to keep track of my purchases, with discouts after you buy a certain amount- perfect for regular customers, which I plan on becoming!

They have different honey options and a lot of samples too in case you want to try before you buy. We always try new honey and end up purchasing a new flavor each time. They have different sizes so you can buy a small batch if you want to try something new or they also have small tubs if you use a lot of honey. My mom likes to buy the tubs and pour into smaller containers and gift it to her friends when she visits. Especially in colder months when everyone is making teas or just getting sick from flu season. They also have honey candy, candles, soaps, etc. so it's fun to browse around. This time I took the lavender honey and I've been adding it in my coffee and matcha at home. Gives it a subtle hint of lavender and sweetness from the honey. I don't usually enjoy lavender but I feel like the lavender is subtle and not so perfumy. Not something I would've gravitated too organically, but I had the sample in store and here I am. They also have some spicy honeys which might be good for pizzas or wing sauces? Worth checking out.

On my commute, I went a different route in the hopes that one of the farms in Somis would be open before 9AM, and thankfully, Patty's was. I stopped by and bought a full flat of strawberries for $44. Despite the berries being smaller than the ones from Las Posas Berries, they were equally sweet, and the staff kept stuffing the flat with more berries as I got my card to pay. I stopped going once they started charging $20 per person for the "festival" entry fee. Before 2025, the Somis location was free to go pick berries. Last year they started charging $3 to walk back there now 2026 it's $5 to walk back there. I know $5 in retrospect doesn't seem like a lot, but it's really sad to see how greedy these owners have become. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. you lost a loyal customer
