I have been going to this salon for 5 years until one day I met "the manager" after very politley…read morequering the price of my childrens haircut (normally £5 each as they are under 5) I was told "I'm the manager of the salon and if you don't like it then don't come back" I will not be going back as this is a very bad attitude to have towards long standing customers and I actually feel very hurt that he thinks he can talk to customers in such a way.

I found the owner of hair 4 U when I was a little younger ;) He worked for a high street company at the time. I never know what to do with my hair and Will would advise what he thought was best and every time, without fail, he was right! I got comment after comment from friends. Well happy. Then my worst nightmare... He was promoted and moved on to manage more than be in the day to day life of a hairdresser. Aaarrrgggh! In the next 5 years, I tried salon after salon and stuck with a company in chorley that is excellent but I paid an arm and a leg each visit. Then the guy who cut my hair then left (theme going on here :)) so I was on the search again. After hours of trawling the Internet for reviews and recommendations etc... Imagine my delight to find Will... The owner of a new salon opening in Chorley! Woo-hoo! I booked in with him at his new posh place. Very nice decor and lovely staff. Drinks and mags on tap :) After my first visit around three years ago, I've never been anywhere else and never will as long as this company is going. I'm back to getting comments of friends and collegues again on how good my hair looks. Very very happy with the service from all staff and the friendly atmosphere at both chorley and leyland salons. Long live Hair 4 U!!!!!

Saturdays are probably recommended to book in advance. Other days they offer walk in appointments, although they'll do their best to accomodate at any time. Easy parking at both stores, good music, very friendly staff. Superb. All staff will do their upmost to make sure your visit is perfect. Highly recommend!
