The museum is in the garment district, and the art may inspire you to pick up some fabric to make a collage.

A floor up, sunlight floods a year-long showcase residency called Turbulence in the Balkans, featuring Eastern European works but unfortunately, no brass bands. Sad dance party loss. Moreover, I downloaded the book once on my computer, but can't download it anywhere else. Don't buy any Epub books at Fnac: go to the publishers' websites or to other providers who sell you a watermarked book without DRM junk. Fnac just forces you into their lousy ecosystem. The help offered via email is poor and just repeats the same information while not answering questions.

The store wasn't as modern inside and it didn't have the typical WHSmith experience which one would get in the UK, but it was a decent store nonetheless. They really do need to work on the entrances though, the only entrance due to COVID is up steps which wouldn't be disabled friendly, meanwhile, the front entrance is used as an exit - surely they should just use one door each for the front to accommodate everybody? 3* - Not a bad book store overall, a familiar brand which I like, service impersonal and prices a little high though.

Anything and everything Little Prince! The owner is super friendly and very nice to talk to. The music is calming, the shop is orderly and well stocked. The shop opened in the 50s by an American called George Whitman and he initially named it Le Mistral. I believe the name changed in the 60s to what we know it as today. As a fan of literature, Shakespeare and Company is like Mecca. The Holy Grail, if you will. Founded by Sylvia Beach in 1919, it was a hangout for many American and British writers when they lived in Paris. Like any great bookstore, this retail establishment has an impressive inventory of books in English, in all major categories: Children's literature, classics, culinary, culture, economics, history, politics, travel, etc, etc. We checked 4 different days, and finally got in on our fifth try. The shop is a labyrinth of interconnected rooms, and actually takes up nearly a whole block. The check-out clerks will stamp your books with the Shakespeare & Co logo and name; so it's fun to gift a classic, like Winnie the Pooh, to your grandkids. With the availability of Amazon, it is difficult to justify a purchase from here when you know you can get the same product online and delivered to your home for less. Unless it truly is a book you cannot find on Amazon, then by all means, it's worth the buy. But if you can find it, just get it online. Why waste luggage space and money? The staff are indeed a bit standoffish and prefer not to socialise or try to assist you unless they know for certain that you can speak French fluently. But it is also an advantage in that you won't be hassled to get something.

I don't speak French so I naturally wanted to solve this problem by email or text since I can translate things.. It's impossible to get an answer. They don't do anything to help you and their rules are ridiculous. I even bought an issurance for the concert ticket and they are not even willing to reply to me. I'll never buy anything there again.
