When I asked if they did sweet n sour chicken, battered deep fried chicken balls eith sweet n sour sauce, the answer was yes so I ordered them and a chicken Singapore noodles, and prawn toast. What I received was a container filled with deep fried to death, burnt to a crisp, dry, chewy chicken bits, not balls, not strip's, just like scraps. Inedible! The prawn toast was also burnt to a crisp, with next to no prawn, just deep fried bread covered in sesame seeds, literally dripping with oil. The chicken Singapore noodles are a small serve, with very little flavour. I was charged $40.20 for this abomination, which most of is going in the bin. Service was very friendly, but my order is extremely below par, burnt, inedible, and certainly not worth it, as it stands it will not feed two people let alone one. The best fish and chips this side of Ipswich. There is some variation in quality you could say from time to time, but they always compensate and often give more than we ordered, especially when it comes to potato scollops. Always great service and easily the cheapest around if you want to buy bulk for big families or for having friends over. read more

I'm going to have to disagree with Fook. As someone who lives in the area, I've eaten food from here quite a few times and in all honesty, the food varies. Some days you'll get food that is to die for, others, not so much. The environment is noisy and unpleasant, so you might want to do something else while you wait for your food. All complaints aside, my recommendation is their calamari as it's cooked to perfection, not chewy and the crumb doesn't fall off. As Fook said, it's wise to bring cash, because they don't take EFTPOS, although there are a few ATMs around. Overall, decent service and decent food, so I'm giving it a 3/5. read more

Great fish and chips. They have good value family packs and other packs. I always like their crumbed cod and chips. I've tried every other fish and chip shop around here and this is the best. Not fancy but always great food. read more
