Being an athlete, I don't have the same mobility as I do after seeing Jasmin. I am much more flexible and much more able to stretch after her massage. She will seek out tension, pain points and knots and work through those areas accordingly. The tightness and painful areas I come in with are not always the areas she spends the most time on, but it ends up being just what I needed because those areas have the most relief afterwards. I attribute it to her knowledge of physiology. During the last session I felt deep tension released in my hips and then some nausea due to releasing stored toxins. She used amazing smelling organic medicinal oils and it took me right out of feeling sick. She's very intuitive about the work she's doing and knows when and what oils and medicinal scents to use. Her massage is very fluid. She's great at using her elbows. In fact, it's definitely the best elbow work I've ever had. She will help you relax your body through the deep work. She helps work through it with breathing and other techniques. Sometimes tricking your body with movements from her other hand while her elbow releases a trigger point somewhere else. I would not be able to relax my body without her guidance. I haven't cried on the table with her work, but if I was more tense I probably would have, so I really value the ability she has to relax the body through words and other techniques. Whereas most massage therapists seem to be following a standard template during a massage, Jess truly listens to your requests and your body and tailors your treatment to what you need in the moment. Every massage with her has been different, each experience has been just what I needed. If I need her to focus on my shoulders for a full hour? No problem. If my hips are super tight? Not an issue, she'll focus on them as much as I want. Sometimes, she'll discover spots I didn't even know were tight! And magically, she always knows the exact amount of pressure I need to feel good. The warm up was great, she paid attention to my breathing & what my body needed. As the massage went through I found not only were my problem areas addressed, but that she was great digging for other areas I was unaware of & paying mind to those spots, too. When it came to the energy/reiki work what I loved is that her instructions were thorough, it was very easy to calm my mind & be present in my body. I had an adventure in my mind that left me feeling extremely grounded. Which is EXACTLY what I needed. I will definitely be back for more work in the future.
