This is also where you book sunset cruises, sailing trips, etc. There is a tourist info booth where you can book and get info on the Las Glorianas cruises. In the midst of all are very important landmarks: Columbus Monument, World Trade Center, Maritime Museum and some cool art courtesy of Pop Art genius Lichtenstein. Next to the Marina are very cool fish restaurants, gelaterias and shopping. It is easily accessible by walking: its at the end of my other fave, La Rambla or Metro. Highly recommend!

The no rules boat…read more The wife and I took a 90-minute boat tour with Las Golondrinas. The tour gave us a view of the Barcelona harbor, city skyline along the coast, and the shipping port. There was no audio accompaniment, so we had to guess/research what different landmarks were. No directions or safety announcements were given, either. They trust you to have enough sense to not fall overboard. You have a choice between being on the upper deck (better view) or lower deck (protected from the elements). Want to stand at the front or back of the boat? Not a problem. Want to eat or drink? Cheers. On the lower deck you can purchase snacks and drinks (including alcohol), but the staff probably doesn't care if you bring your own. They are so chill. The cost for the 90-minute tour was €15.20 for adults and less for seniors, students and children. There are better ways to spend your money in Barcelona, but we did this tour because it was included in our Barcelona Pass. Can't say it was the most memorable, but it certainly was relaxing!

We went to the top of the boat with an amazing view to barcelona, people were very kind, and the artists were there doing adjustments to their instruments. Few minutes Later, Frederic, the French owner was doing a speech, about safety and presented the band who was about to sing. Boat left the Harbour and live music started. So many energy ! a cool atmosphere where were in the middle of the artist and other passengers. later we had a nice sirloin and Hamburguer on the BBQ and a very nice salad. What a horrible service,,, We paid for a small boat costing…read more£60, and what a disaster it was. He was attampting to fill up the boat tank and he managed to pure it all over the boat and he didn't bother to wash it off until we told him. Wr went back and asked to change the £60 boat since we felt it wasn't safe to a bigger £300 per hour boat. They told us wait 10mn for the captain which was a lie since we waited for 45mn then after we told them that this is unacceptable they said the captain is sick and won't be able to take us for the ride and they asked us to wait for 10mn for the other captain to come,,,, they waisted our time they ruined our day and I would never recommend you to rent from them.

Rather than hearing me out he was yelling at us as well I would have put the guides name here so that you all could just avoid him , but the management would not share his name with me - too bad for them as now I feel compelled to say to everyone to AVOID them totally There are several other competing companies around in the area, so not to worry - you can still enjoy a great experience with someone else It is not my usual practice to write such long reviews here , but I truly feel NO ONE should have to go through such a negative experience, while on vacation, so took the time to write this out !

We booked the sunset cruise with the guitarist for a nice evening before dinner. Everything started…read moreoff well. We met our skipper and 2 other couples that would be joining us. As soon as we left the port, everything went bad. One of the guest decided she would like to drive the boat and the skipper allowed her to drive the boat the entire time. Worse part is, she was trying to be adventurous with the boat to the point that I was scared the boat could capsize and we could all be in real danger. At one point the boat rose almost completely onto one side and everyone had to hold onto whatever they could until the skipper was able to take control. I was beyond mad and terrified at that point! Everyone got really quiet and it was an awkward time from there on. The skipper Jorge tried to keep the mood going but I was so done with this adventure at that point! Especially because he did not remove the guest from the steering wheel even after that terrifying incident. I emailed the company letting them know what happened and that I deserved my money back as I did not enjoy the trip what so ever. They told me they would investigate but it has been lies ever since. They emailed saying that according to their investigation everyone looked like they were having fun. Well how would you know, by surveillance video? But yet our skipper Jorge said there is no camera on board. So I asked them to produce this video to see if it exists and of course they can not provide any video or pictures. So I insisted they ask the skipper about the sailing time, and I'm sure he gave another version, probably so he wouldn't get in trouble. And they also said that the guest only drove the boat for a few minutes, well that is a complete lie because if you really did have video then you could see she drove the entire 2 hours. And I did not pay for some bimbo to drive the boat on what should have been a nice, relaxing sunset cruise. Fabio, who has been responding to my emails is worthless. He just makes excuses and blames me for not having a good time. He is not a good representative of good customer service. Hopefully this does not happen to anyone on a future sail and I hope my review serves as a warning for others, because this company will not take any responsibility for my situation and I basically lost and wasted over $200 on this experience. They have not responded to me anymore and since they are in another country I can't do much more than email at this point. They obviously don't have good customer service because they do not value a customer experience, they just want the money.
