I love, love, love Liv Sauna. I used to come here regularly the year before and got a little busy so I couldn't come as regularly as I used to. Now that I'm on break. I'm back and I love it! I was able to get their one month unlimited membership and am so stoked because that means I can come daily to get my sauna needs. I can't express how beneficial saunas are good for the body and soul. A few of which is the detoxification it provides by helping the body eliminate toxins. Another big benefit that I love is how it helps to improve your cardiovascular health by improving blood circulation, lowering blood pressure, and reducing the risk of heart disease. It is so great because not only is it a stress reliever it is very relaxing. I love all the benefits you get all while getting the choice to see anything you want on their giant tv including Netflix, AppleTV, and more. I'm stuck somewhere between 3 and 4 stars -- I enjoyed my first visit to both the infrared sauna and the cold plunge, but not sure this is a place I would visit regularly. The private sauna was nice and cozy with built in speakers to listen to music or watch tv. You pay for a full hour but they seem to be pretty strict about stopping you after 45 minutes. That was more than enough time for me, but I do not know why they advertise a full hour then. I'm glad I tried the cold plunge but mostly because I felt like I needed to shower. This didn't necessarily feel like the cleanest place, unfortunately. There were plenty of people coming in and out and I don't believe any of the rooms were cleaned while I was there. I know somebody used the cold plunge after I did which seems unsanitary. Also the floors were all very wet which insinuates people were in the cold plunge before me, and there isn't much space to get changed into dry clothes afterwards. There are signs that say "get naked" but I would certainly advise wearing a bathing suit! Besides the sauna rooms, it unfortunately doesn't feel very private here either. You need to go through the lone hallway to get from the sauna to the cold plunge, which is a straight shot out through the front door and onto the street. I don't necessarily want all of Santa Monica Blvd to see me in a towel for free, though the people should be so lucky to! Also there's a massive crack in the door that leads to the shower and cold plunge room. Like you can probably see the person in the shower from the hallway if you look through the crack, it was very noticeable and a little concerning read more

I found this spot via ClassPass and had a great experience! My friend and I went for a group sauna and loved our experience. The staff was flexible about is changing our time the day of, which was awesome. The group sauna experience was great! We had a large room to ourselves with a large sauna that held us both easily. We loved that they had a tv setup that we could use watch with Netflix too. It was also nice to have the room for when we needed breaks! We ended up showering after and the shower area was nice. They have wonderful soaps and a vitamin c infused shower head. Also got additional complimentary towels for this! Great vibes, great space, and helpful staff! read more

Beautiful space! It's been a while since I've done a cold plunge and found this beautiful place via ClassPass. Carly helped answer some questions on the phone and was sweet and super patient. I ended up doing the infrared first. I found street parking a block away, wasn't bad at all. I noticed ppl in line out the door for a place called Mamie, asked Carly about it, she recommended it. Separate review lol. Infrared first. Room is beautiful. Love the setup with the tvs, felt super peaceful and was very relaxing. Carly showed me my cold plunge room on our walk down the hall. It was close enough that I felt comfortable darting across the hall in my bikini and a little towel. Cold plunge space is beautiful, and it's the equivalent of a sit down bath tub. The showers in the room and stocked with Ursa Major which are great products. It's also a vitamin c shower which is super dope! Idk if it was the infrared first or just changes in my body but I wasn't able to plunge like normal when I went, and that's ok I meet my body where it is. This place is fantastic. I love an infrared sauna, and the feeling of euphoria that I have after a session. Each room comes with towels and a remote to watch Netflix or a wide range of streaming options. Many places limit the amount of time, but here you get a full 1 hour session, which is what keeps bringing me back. The 1 hour session includes your change time, but if you can change fast, you'll get to maximize your infrared sauana time. I typically went to Shape House, which I loved, but they went out of business. This is a wonderful alternative to the infrared sauna experience that I loved. It's also a great location right in West Hollywood, and just right across from the Whole Foods. read more

3.5/5 stars. This was my first time trying LIV, but not my first time doing infrared sauna. So my review is mixed. For starters the male at the front desk was nice + accommodating all day from when I called in until when I arrived for my session. My room suite was a nice size, and had the tv as well. Pros: I did like the the sauna was a smaller one because I feel like I got the full benefits and really got to sweat and detox. So after the 45 minutes I was feeling refreshed. Cons:My Netflix remote was damaged, and the inside of my sauna had a weird like pee smell which bothered me a bit during my session. I could hear people yelling (maybe talking loud) in the hallway during my session. There's only 1 shower, and it's located in the plunge room. Therefore unless you book the plunge room or no one else is in it you have access to the shower. So I would definitely recommend you calling ahead to check availability. I'm sure it's a popular locals place, and it's good for th Benifits and what you need. But not for me because I couldn't get with the smell. In all - I still recommend the experience. read more

Came here to try out the facilities and it was a pretty cool experience. You can choose between the suana or the plunge baths. The space was super clean and loved the serene feeling. I chose to do the suana and love how there was a TV inside to watch Netflix. Very cool experience. I only wish I had known you can only use shower if you reserved it after your session. Love this place!!! The employees are SUPER nice and personable. Check in is quick and easy, and it's such a great relaxing experience. You get to book your sauna room for 45 min. They provide you with towels and there's a timer inside the sauna. The room is super cute with mood lighting, a mirror and a TV for watching shows or listening to music. I always feel so great after coming here! They also have a cold plunge but I haven't tried that yet. I have been going to LIV for more than a year now through Classpass and I could not speak more highly of this small business! The facilities are super clean, the staff are very welcoming and nice, the saunas are spacious, and the cold plunges are deep and COLD. Just a heads up that you'll have to book the sauna and cold plunge sessions separately since they are in different rooms. The sauna rooms have TVs which make the 45 min much more bearable. They also recently built a second cold plunge room, which I think was a great addition since they are probably facing more demand for more cold plunge appointments! Both cold plunge rooms have a shower and users are asked to shower before plunging, which makes me feel at ease that I'm plunging in clean water. The access to the shower is also nice post-plunge to warm back up before returning to your day. Scheduling is very easy. LIV has always accommodated last minute changes (because sometimes life/work gets in the way...) which is very much appreciated. Super excited to see this place grow in even the little time I've been coming and I recommend to anyone looking for a sauna/contrast therapy sesh! read more

Such a magical place!!! It's so hard to find a truly wonderful sauna place in Los Angeles, and Liv Weho comes with all of the vibes. They always have the sweetest employees help you out and the space is beautiful! I love to come for a sauna/ice bath moment. The pricing is the most affordable in Los Angeles compared to other places with similar offerings, but the service and standard is just as high. Everything is always super clean and organized. Overall, this was a cool experience and easy to book. My husband and I wanted to try something new, so we did the 45 min infrared sauna followed by the cold plunge. A few minutes into the sauna, we noticed that there were 2 used, dirty bandaids left on the shelf inside the sauna (GROSS). When we brought it to the attention of the front desk guy , he didn't really offer any help or much of an apology. He just said: "The thing I've learned working here is that people are gross." This is a beautiful facility and the owner is very friendly and professional. They have a tv for you to watch during your sauna. It's the best infrared sauna I've been to! I loved the experience and I will definitely recommend to everyone! She makes sure you know how to navigate the sauna for first timers, and there's a small cool temp towel with lavender (I think or eucalyptus) essential oil on it which is perfect as you sit in the sauna. Honestly, if you suffer from anxiety & autoimmune diseases/disorders this place is a god-send. The rooms are quaint and very private. In each room you have your own television, robe, sauna to play any soothing tunes you desire on YouTube. The sauna is perfect to get what you need and unwind. After you heat up and absorb the infrared rays for 30-50 minutes you move to a room wear your take a quick shower before you dip into the plunge pool. It definitely wakes you up, reaaaaal quick, but in the best way possible. It's ideal to stay in for a minute to ten minutes. After that you go back to your room and gather your things and head out. Once you hit the door, euphoria sets in and a sense of peace takes ahold of you. This sense of relief lasts around the next couple of hours and really helps center yourself.
